I haven't booked my flight yet, my new passport is pending and I had to surrender my old one in the meantime so I'm kinda getting worried as to when my new one will arrive with this huge backlog.

funny you mention that, i know the circumstances are different, considering where your from, but i had to expedite my passport a few weeks ago, got it on the 8th day, pretty quick

We have a huge backlog in Canada now that you need one to enter the USA (via air), I think 6 weeks is normal, expediated is about 3 weeks. Mine's supposed to be ready by the 25th if there's no delays, so it'll be tight :(

I'm already here! God I can't wait for this! This week I'm moving to a new house and I know I'll still be organizing the new place up till the show..

i dont know if they have them there, but in detroit we have some shady places that you go in there and they charge you like an extra $300 and they make up some fake paperwork saying you're flight is leaving in a week and fax it somewhere and you get your passport in like 3 days. you might want to look into it.

5 pm on the 26th - anyone already there that day? i need to stay awake at least until 1 or 2 am to avoid jet lag - and drinking helps :)
