Scammers and thieves sure aren't getting any smarter
 

Come on guys, if you are going to try and steal something, at least put some effort into it.

no, ppl are just getting dumber bc our education system sucks and technology will always be used to assist ppl in making new ways to scam ppl.

I bet you $500 I could call 50 people and get at least 10 credit card numbers and ssn's with no problem just via social engineering.

If they were smart with a work ethic they wouldn't need to spam and steal.

and I believe a scam depends upon the victim FALLING for it, not how smart the scammer is ...

They came to realize something: You don't have to have a big plan to steal, you can just be dumb, arrogant, and blatant about ripping people off, and you will still make money.
