    outrageous marketing stunts

    Let's talk about some outrageous marketing stunts people have used, especially offline marketing stunts.

    I'll start:

    Golden Palace is legendary.

    Golden Palace Casino had naked guys painted with their URL run around at sporting events.

    Golden Palace bought tattoos, one of the early ads on Alex Tew's Million Pixel page, and they also bought kooky eBay items such as the Christ image in the pizza cheese. All received massive press coverage.

                  Not sure if this counts as a marketing stunt.....

                  Many years ago I attended a convention in Vegas with Steve Lightspeed and Tanker. Everyone knew who they were, no one knew who I was - and no one seemed to care. I was up in a party suite and it was starting to get me down so I came up with the brilliant idea of getting naked in the tub with a model.

                  What I failed to see was that the room was filled with photographers, including JFK. The pictures were all over GFY by the time I woke up in the morning. I had a lot to explain to my wife that morning!

                  But it worked! Everyone in the room remembered me from that night on!

                      I ordered pizza earlier today... And they gave me a free playing cards set. Not extreme stunt, but nice marketing in my opinion.


                      A girl once told me "Give me 8 inches and make it HURT".

                      So, I fucked her twice and hit her with a brick.
