What size pics do you bloggers like?

I like them pretty big, at least 350 px wide. But more important, I want to see lots of text along with the picture, and not just a few words.

I use 4 small ones, and they link to a popup of the big one.

I'm thinking a 2-3 good paragraphs, 150-200 words total, with 2-3 more links in the text.

Does that sound good?

That much text would be above average. And nobody even had mention putting links in the text. :thumbsup

350 in width max, some themes don't have much of a content area. Or if you are going to make a quality feed then have 3 different image size options, 250,350,450.

I'm using a big ass pic (535X400) and a lot of text right now on one blog, and three small pics (135X200) and a little text on another blog.
