Having a child is one of the most hardest things EVER!

I've been mommy, daddy, diaper changer, bottle maker, butt cleaner, dog walker, housewife, webmaster, designer, co-worker, and myself this week.

I am fucking exhausted.

Wife had surgery this week, so I've been doing just about everything around the house because my family sucks.

Don't mind my rant... I'm just tired...

GooSearch 03-03-2007 07:00 PM

SkeetSkeet 03-03-2007 07:11 PM

spacedog 03-03-2007 07:13 PM

I know the feeling all to well.. which is why I work so late at night & am half asleep during the day.. I think I sleep average of 3 or 4 hours a day.

Can't work late tonight though... having my 4th daughters 1st birthday party

1hoho 03-03-2007 07:13 PM

haha... try to see it from the womans point of view... its much, much harder :)

pornguy 03-03-2007 07:19 PM

I hear you. I have a 1 year and 7 month old. and he demands a lot of attention. He knows how to trun off power strips.

IllTestYourGirls 03-03-2007 07:23 PM

I have a 2 year old. Easiest kid to raise so far. Docs say she is a trick baby. "Look kids are so easy to raise, lets have another" Super smart can already count to 10

candyflip 03-03-2007 09:32 PM

We thought the same thing so instead of having a kid, we decided to buy a deli.

A few nights back my girlfriend said that she wished we had gone the baby route.

stickyfingerz 03-03-2007 09:50 PM

Have a 6 year old girl, a 2.5 year old girl, and a Baby boy due in May. I knows all about it son. :winkwink:

PHP-CODER-FOR-HIRE 03-03-2007 10:07 PM

I care for my 4 year old nephew all the time, and at the end of the day I'm exhausted...it's harder than I thought it would be.

Gnus 03-03-2007 10:10 PM

Just wait until they become teenagers, you think it's tough now.

Nodtveidt 03-03-2007 10:16 PM

I think I'll avoid it for a few more years.

Ditto, girl born on 18th Jan. I haven't slept more than a few hours in 6 weeks.

I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end.... :)

Remember my 'dream life situation'....making crazy sick amounts of money...living at the beach (on the water)...having not a care in the world....but for ONE THING...the kid issue..............................that trumps all...

hang in there until Grade 1...it gets groovy then...up till then -- scratch sleep -- scratch anything for yourself -- go with it, love them.............and smile.....it's a strangely magical time...it goes fast, but when you're in it...not fast enough...

*****Get into meditation...... when they're asleep, do it at night, do it at 4am before they wake up....rinse repeat...

Lykos 03-04-2007 03:56 AM

damn,and i just wanted to have a kid,hehe:)

Zayne E. 03-04-2007 06:25 AM

Tell me about it. I am a single dad (sole custody) of a 4 year old with Autism.

Curious...anyone else on the boards have an Autistic child or am I the only one?

I'm doing it full time by myself with TWO kids...Mommy is back in the states laying up somewhere drunk and my kids will never see her face again until it's laying in a coffin.

Luckily I work at home and don't work too hard.

Tanya_AWP 03-05-2007 07:32 AM
