i dont really care but 1 time i feel like looking for old friends from school all i see is fake profiles promoting porn. Sad there isn't anything on the net not touched with porn anymore.

also my space has a terrible search function to boot

myspace allows pornographers to sell their goods from myspace, even the most highly respected name in the business sells their videos directly through myspace . so i see no reason why the average joe pornographer cant do the same :)

What I don't quite understand is all those 18 year old girl profiles that are popping up saying "no guys, girls only!!!!!" What's the reasoning behind that one?

Because fake lesbian profiles are so unusual that 93% of guys will think it's real and check it out as opposed to a garden variety fake straight girl profile which is more easily spotted and only results in only a 68% click thru' .

I set up a profile once.. in just a few days I had 100 messages from guys I didn't know. 90% of them were sexual in nature. I imagine the other 10% figured they'd say hello first. :D

I imagine they just want to make friends.. and not the dirty old man type. :winkwink:

It's mostly teen guys hoping to chat with girls. In the end, they just end up having fake lesbian cyber sex with other teen guys. It's hilarious.

Wow I think you are right it took me awhile to figure out how all of that works but that is it. I have people that steal my pictures on there all the time and with some work I find out most are guys. So in the end you have one guy pretending to be a girl talking to another guy pretending to be a girl lol. I guess they get what they deserve! Melissa

Playboy was the first one to sell porn videos directly from myspace that i know of.. i see no reason why others shouldnt do the same.. if myspace didnt want porn , why team up with the industries biggest porn company to sell porn from their website ?

I know a guy that is gay and he makes fake girl profiles to have cyber with unsuspecting guys. lol
