To late. LOL
I'm almost done. I'll post a pic of it later. I think you'll like I it. I made a few cool changes. But this time it requires me to solder 80 anode and cathodes to resistors. I know SHIT about electronics. I'm learning all of this as I go. |
|
those are pretty bad ass though. I will DEFINITELY get those on the next one.
Too bad you REFUSE to tell me what kind of camera you use. Oh well.. I can only drop so many hints before I run out of fucking hints. |

hey what a fucking coincidence I use a 100B. Do you use any lens adapters? I use a, I dunno.. some japanese one.
The first one I built was on a 100B, this next one is on a VX2000 with a sony 0.70 wide lens adapter. maybe we could work something out... if you wanna |

Well if you are dropping hints I have a GL2 and think the 1st one you made was nifty.. When I get the time and effort I was gonna try one for myself..

Here's another way to do it, Luxeon + Lens
It's an aussie site but I am sure you can find this elsewhere... http://www.torchworld.com.au/catalog...roducts_id=231 |

Ahhhh. Shoe, you still yappin about the LED ring lights? Is this what this thread is all about?

Yeah, with 3 x 1W LEDs as a point source you would probably need to worry more about blinding your subjects, than just overexposing them. The lenses that fit over the LEDs are wide angle so they diffuse and spread the light, although they may still be uncomfortable to look at.
You can use a pot (it would need to be rated at probably 5W) but you can probably buy off the shelf Luxeon drivers which include dimming. |
