If we are talking about Xanex ... I get 90 1mg tabs a month but never take more then 20 or less .. so i have about 4 big bottles filled to the top in my bathroom .. there must be 500 there .. I wonder if i ever got raided or pulled over with them in the car if they could charge me with something .. even if i have a script .. maybe in the car they could say intent to sell and I'd have to have a reason for carrying that many on me .. the script only cost $7 to fill so i just keep filling it ..

Na - Im on Venlafaxine..... Its great stuff but you cant stop taking it.

what is it like a Paxil type thing .. I couldn't take that shit .. I just wanted to sit around .. never happy .. never sad .. with the Xanax I can just take it on the few occasions that i have a panic attack ( big crowds and shit like that )

Yeah - Its more like Paxil - but its meant to be the 'Next Generation".

Its great, but if I miss a dose by more than even an hour I crash and burn.

I took myself off it when I was in NZ and I spent the next six weeks in a locked ward..... :Oh crap

Thats what happens when you are late for a dose - its pretty freaky.

that is crazy .. I was freaked out by some of the stories i heard today after saying my doc put me on Lipitor .. If i knew i would feel like my brain was being shocked if i missed a dose I would be freaking the fuck out ..

I have tried 'riding it out', but its just not worth it.

I agree a lot is over prescribed, but some people really need it.

I once spent 3 days sitting under a table crying. When you get to that stage you know that something has to be done if you want to live.

How does it affect your energy? Does it make you tired and sluggish all the time?

I never believed in taking medication. my vice of choice is beer..only on weekends and the occasional doob..I'm stable most of the times :glugglug

I dont know if its them or the fact I drink too much.


I have put on lots of wieght, but I am on a massive dose.

I spent 25% off my life in a ward/rehab etc before - I havnt, touch wood, for the last 2 1/2 years spent a day.

Too mant Dr's dont know the difference between real depression and being 'pissed off' with life.

The typical story is someone goes in and says they are pissed off because the other half has dumped them and they cant pay the bills - So the Dr gives them anti-depresants.

What they need is a new partner and a large check. Not fucking pills.

You can always take them for fun ..I'm sure you could have one hell of a weekend with the 500 mgs i have in my bathroom ..:1orglaugh
