I'm a Millwright by trade and have been for 20 years..have a problem with people who work with their hands also? Yes I have a few TGP/MGP's also a couple other irons in the fire.I don't claim to be a baller or try to act like one like you

Actually most constructions I know aren't the smartest tools in the bunch. The guys that have an average IQ or higher all have their own businesses. The others mostly ends up burned out and alchoolic.

Nothing agaisn't them, but in general they end up there becuase they suck at life...

The 10 % that loves their job and actually have more then a couple brain cells are great people :P

What is a Millwright?

Derived from the trade of carpentry, a millwright originally was a specialized carpenter who was trained as a carpenter and as well had working knowledge of gear ratios, driveshaft speeds, and other equations. The "mill" in millwright refers to the genesis of the trade in flour mills.

A millwright today is someone who maintains or constructs industrial machinery such as that which would be related to assembly lines, also pumps, valves, printing presses, etc. Millwrights are usually responsible for the unassembled equipment when it arrives at the job site. Using hoisting and moving equipment they position the pieces that need to be assembled. Their job requires a thorough knowledge of the load bearing capabilities of the equipment they use as well as an understanding of blueprints and technical instructions.

I actually build pumps for the mining industry that are based all over the world.Many diamond mines.Some of them are 30 feet long with 500 hp motors.

Sounds interesting. My dad used to be a mine manager at Giant Yellowknife Mines in you guessed, Yellowknife. God damn did I hate living there. Luckily I was so young I can barely remember.
