the reason why americans are being picked on so much is their arrogance when it comes to the world. Many times they bully their way into the politics of another country or even in our case, feel they have the right to set up the laws that govern the internet separate from anyone else.
Yes they have done some good when helping other countries, but it is seen as more of a compensation for all the wrongs they have done. I love americans, they are our brother to the south, but even canada gets annoyed at their arrogance and seems to be apologizing for them a great deal when visiting other countries. This from experience.
