Anybody else is working his ass off for minimum wage.

After 30 years still no cure for a simple weak virus like hiv/aids ?
After 200 years still no cure for all kinds of cancer ?

Why not ?

Because the motherfucking economy don't allow it.
That's why, it's fucking big biznezz to sell condoms to prevent aids.

It's big money selling drugs to treath HIV infected people. Why should you bring a medicine on the market what costs ?? 2000 - 10.000 dollar when you can sell drugs for returning patients a 1000 dollar a month the rest of his or her HIV life!!

You don't need an accountant for that !

I agree that health care costs in the US are way over priced. Prescription drug companies OWN this country.

However, have you seen what you get for minimum wage? It's hard to get your order right at a fast food place, much less your body. I believe doctors and nurses deserve to be paid more than other workers. They worked hard for their practice and schooling, and should be rewarded more than other's are like athletes and other celebs in the US. These are human lives afterall.

If the cost of prescription drugs came down to what it should be, then overall health care would be more affordable. The whole system needs a complete overhaul but I'd be happy to see some small changes.

I'm willing to pay a reasonable price for health insurance etc. because I believe you do get what you pay for (usually) but the costs are out of control.

This governemnt allows and even encourages the prescription drug companies to have way too much control over cost and the industry itself. Just like the oil industry. The US as a whole has so many fucked up policies, laws, and systems it's ridiculous. Bureaucracy at its finest.

There is a cure for cancer, some dudes in Canada found it, but it's too cheap and no one can make money on it, so there it sits, in Canada.

I believe Magic Johnson "bought" the cure! $$ It exists, But way too much money in the treatment maybe? Population controll might be another reason. Sad but true? Just my questions about it.

their is a cure for everything, they just choose not to make it public, because shareholders would think differently

um, doctors have to go to school for close to 10 years. its only fair that they get something back for that. but yeah, health care is big business.

government is spending bout 500 million a year for HIV vaccine research, and 100 billion a year on iraq war .... if we had spent 100 billion on HIV vaccine research we would have saved a hell of a lot more lives and solved a hell of a lot more problems

I'm one of those ones that takes maintenance drugs for diabetes.. And it's costing me a small fortune every year to do so.. Don't get me started on cures and the way health care is in the united states! it drives me insane..
