I go to this one store in my town alot and i keep getting this cute cashier to ring me up and we talk every time i checkout. I even dropped a lame joke and she laughed:1orglaugh Anyway since i knew where she worked and i know half the world uses myspace i decided to look her up on there by the search. She has a page. If i contact her through there do you think that's creepy,stalking or lame?:1orglaugh

I think that if you simply contact her, it's none of those.

However, depending on the way you express yourself to her, I guess it could be all three.

Tough call, but if you do go the MySpace route, my unsolicited advice is to say that you really and truly randomly found her though ___ (invent connection) instead of saying that you looked her up. Just my:2 cents:

It depends, if she laughs at your jokes b/c she thinks your funny and likes you its definitely not stalking or any of the above.

If she is giving you a nervous laugh b/c you make her fell uncomfortable than that is lame and you may be entering the "some creepy dude is stalking me" territory.

i aint doin it lol and hell no im not asking her out in the store. Yeah let me do that with a line of people behind me and embarress her in front of her co workers right............ I never asked a girl out at her job.

do it at her work. chicks love that shit. Shows that you "like" enough to let everyone know it and she'll feel "special" or some shit like that.

if i weren't already spoken for, i wouldn't find it creepy or stalkerish if someone that i had random encounters with, ended up finding me on myspace. as long as the message that you write doesn't say anything over the line.. just friendly and casual.. and you should be fine. :)

I cant say i randomly found her, her myspace says another town thats 30 miles away. All i did was type the store name in the search of where she works and she came up.

Does she know your name? If she knows your name, and says "Hi, -name-" when you come in. Also, How often do you go in there, and how often have you talked with her? If you're a big regular and most of the staff knows ya, and you've been goin for months. You MIGHT be ok.

Hell yeah it is stalking. You have seen some women you like but are to afaird to ask her to go for a cup of coffee or a drink some time so you sit at home and hunt her down on the internet. IHMO that is 100% stalking leave the poor girl alone it is just to freaky.

i think there's nothing wrong by calling her...just be friendly...i think that's not what she think about you..at least you have reason for coming on their store..stalking is when you keep on coming back on that store without buying anything and just to see her...

Why did you type anything in the first place? you must of been trying to gain information about her without her knowledge. Do you really think a women would be flattered if you went up to her and said I know you know nothing about you but I know where you live, your interests and other stuff about you or a little freaked out. The fact you seem to think it is normal to start checking someone out at Myspace (or anywhere else) rather than just asking if she would like to grab a coffee sometime, says to me you need to think seriously about seeking professional help before it is to late. next time you are in there, bring up myspace into the conversation somehow (easy) and ask her if she uses it, then its 80% less creepy when you go and add her.

I refuse to use myspace or facebook, people honestly waste half their lives on that shit.
