I hate TGPs with a passion

Of the 2 ads, both are verts... the one near the scroll
goes to me. The other, you'll have to find your sponsor
that converts for your style.

NEVER let them leave your page, even if it's a free
hosted TGP page. Large thumbs that show NOTHING,
you burn what ... 50kb per impression, they click 2 or 3
images and then your in their face verts draw the
attention.

Also "no recip" TGPs are better to post to. Nothing in
the way of MORE free pictures to take their attention
from your advertising. Figure out when the TGP lists
are updated and try and squeek in on the ass end,
then they're searching for more porn and BANG it's
sponsor click through time.

Now, go ask this question of those boys that pull
5 figures off galleries and share what you learn from
them!

4-5 galleries a month can get you enough draw into
some feeders to start a good traffic funnel.

They rip the hell out of sales for paysites and really dont produce that much cash. Unless you have a MASSIVE ass site and then you get 40k hits on one day for that gallery, burn your bandwidth to hell, and conversions are never what you think they will be.

Ahh the free porn issue.

Simple fact is this:
It's not the tons of free porn that's killing the industry.

The problem is you have tons of TGP webmasters who have NO idea how to effectively sell, market, or promote that ARE giving away all this free porn.

Take a TGP webmaster who's mastered selling and marketing. There is a huge difference between someone who knows HOW to UTILIZE free porn in a way that makes them money...then having people who have no fucking clue about anything giving away free porn. Huge difference.

The people who give away the free porn on TGPs that are making money, don't need to complain and usually have no problems.

Unfortunately, probably 80% of the TGP webmasters out there have no clue....and usually it's just some kid who started a TGP in there basement with no formal marketing or selling experience. So then ofcourse, you get tons of these people complaining and thus convincing the world that free porn is evil.

Is a gun by evil itself? No...but put a gun in the wrong hands and it becomes evil. Is free porn evil? No...but put free porn in the hands of people who have no clue, and it becomes evil.

Again, in my opinion, free porn is not to blame. It's the people that have no idea how make it work FOR them that make it bad.
So then what happens and what do you get? Well, unfortunately, as everyone has seen, you get an overwhelming amount of free porn on the net from these people who have no clue.

Do i like free porn? No....of course i wish there was less.

I wish it didn't have to come down to having to study the art of selling and mastering marketing to make a buck off a TGP. But the fact is, that's what it takes.

But to be honest, is that's really a bad trade off? Learning those skills and to being able to convert that kind of traffic is extremely profitable (since there's so much of that traffic around...and it's really easy to get a hold of)

But to the people who actually KNOW how to sell, market, and actually take the time to analyze their traffic effectively, free porn is a mini goldmine. Will the profits ever be close to what paysites alone can generate? Probably not...and everyone knows that TGPS aren't where the real money is made.

But...at the same time, will i turn down an extra 10k a month on a TGP that takes 5 minutes to update daily even i didn't need the money?
