about $14.00 but you can transfer to namecheap and as soon as you initiate the transfer you get an email from dotster that you can renew them for $7.99

i did my homework ;)

the only drawback is that you have to pay for whoisguard at dotster (free at namecheap)

wtf???

first time I'm using Dostster and that interface is a bit awkward but you sdould've hit that "change" or "update" or whatever button was there untill you see your right total - it basically still displays $2.99 per domain but it deducts the discount (so you should see -$2.22 if you register one domain) and ONLY then charge your card (the Virtual Visa in your case)

Angelo22 02-28-2007 09:43 AM

someone lend me 77 cents!!!

cheaper (at the least teh frist year reg fees) and I don't see any difference as far as the SEs are concerned - I've registered 100 since the beginning of the year and planing on another 400 before the end - taht'd save me ~ $2500.00

tenderobject 02-28-2007 10:19 AM

DaddyHalbucks 02-28-2007 10:45 AM

they also have .com's for $7... it's dotster's 7 year anniversary so everything is pretty much in the "7" theme

.info domains known to be the scum of the industry, the tools for thieves, and frauders.... and a TLD that has been in jeorpardy with poor sales from day one..

Satire...

1st Scam Try to sell domains for 15.99/y
FAILED but scored a few thousand dollars for the owner

2nd Scam: We going outta business jim, lets fool the world and get ready for scam #3: Give 10 domains free for everyone that wants em per free account
haha we sucked them in jim and gave all our scamming parters a place to scam from, on the flipside we doomed our TLD as trash

3rd Scam, .77 cent domains but not really- Noones renewing their domain jims we better jump ship, and do one last promotion, ifigure we can fool 398,000 people at 3 bucks per domain, thats our free million

4th scam... turning it off in about 12 months leaving you with dust
COMING SOON!

wouldnt doubt they all redirect too lol

WTF? I payed with Paypal and on the site I put in the code and it showed up as .77 apiece. Just checked my Paypal account and I got charged full price for each domain, though the discounted price was right there when I checked out. What a crock.

VoteForPedro 02-28-2007 07:27 PM

Anyone else have this problem? Not very much money so no big deal, but still bs. Even says on my account that the order was .77 each. Don't know why I got charged 3.00 apiece to paypal.
