o man do i hate those things...

i went to trance energy i think like 5 years ago, the result is i cant even hear one second of trance music or i go crazy... it grew as one of the few music genres i absolutely hate.

So here we are, 2007. Aside from the horrible trance music i couldnt exactly remember why i hated those kinda huge "parties". So finally after all those years i decided to go to one with some friends last saturday. I was actually looking forward to it, because they had two different music styles, house (which i dont like) and hardcore (which i love).
Dont get me wrong I had some fun in the hardcore part of the stadium, but asides from that the complete experience was exactly like 5 years ago: i hated it! BUT - now I know why, here are the downsides -

    - the fucking journey. Bike, train, bus, "party", and do the journey all over when its finished. Fucking tiring.
    - waiting for everything about 50 times longer than in bars or clubs. The entry, those damn lockers, and most important - the fucking bar! I dont wanna stand in line for 30 minutes to get a damn drink.
    - and from there we wind up at the last, most important point, the drinks themselfs. They're not allowed to serve straight liqour! Now i need that shit in case i dont like a party, like in this case. I couldnt believe my fucking ears when i asked for something straight, and they refused. They had the damn bottles on the goddamn wall for satans sake, so i asked why, and its just not allowed. Fuck! They really make drugs very appealing that way but i never did those party drugs, but still, i totally understand why it is called a party drug now. You cant enjoy those parties without being somehow under the influence, and those mix drink just dont cut it, and believe me i tried.. I spent a total of 150 euro just on those fucking drinks that night. It was a nightmare.

damn.... looks like i needed to get that off my chest. Anyway, have fun!

Our journey is ok. Flight over on the Friday, gives us time to relax, and then by Saturday we catch a train straght across from our hotel, and that takes us to pretty much right to the arena.

The queues can be a pain in the ass, but that's obviously gonna be the case when you have so many people there.

About the drinks, we have a drink before we go to these things, so that once we are there, a few bottles of water will do us most the night. The water is needed for the 'party drugs' anyway.
