using the right form of the word (their, there, etc) im alright, but its spelling it that i cant do. i always find myself using Google as my spell check or dumping a reply to a post into gmail and spell checking it to make sure it was readable :winkwink:

My built-in spell checker has stopped working ages ago. I think it worked for about two weeks. And I've checked it's enabled and everything.

I won't admit that I share you're problem, but it bugs me no end watching people type:

because -> becuase
fault -> fualt
amateur -> amatuer

you're -> your
their -> there

knowledge -> knowlage
language -> languadge



It's not even the non-natives that do these mistakes, it's the native speakers. But I guess our advantage is that we learn the language right from the beginning. And I guess I'd change my grammar "skills" to a perfect pronunciation and a bigger vocabulary any day. It still hurts to see such a beautiful language being abused in such ways.
