How do I get a song to play in HTML?
Hey,
How do I get a song to play in the backround of an html page? Anyone have the code? |
maybe you can use flash for that, try search google for "flash jukebox sample" or something similar. next way is mid file, but i highly not recommend it cause the music is always so loud. hope that helps :thumbsup

good one, needed that too thanks |
but thats kind of ghey as if the user doesnt want the music they have no choice but to close or turn sound down.
You should do it in flash |
p.s. i think its loop=true not autoloop=true
or playcount=99 |
ill create you a cool one in flash for free if you want..

it will load dynamic mp3's heres an example http://smokeycash.com/mat/
you download the swf http://smokeycash.com/mat/mat.swf then place it in a directory with 10 mp3's named track01.mp3 thru track10.mp3 the demo i made just has 1 track in the directory so only #1 will work.. p.s. it streams the mp3 so it will play before it finished downloading |
you can drag the mp3 player around the window but in the demo i just placed it in a tiny movie so it doesnt drag far depending on how you were going to use it you would make the flash the size of the window then put it on an overlay so users could drag the mp3 player around..
|
i just updated the demo so you can see how it would be used on a page (like in context )
|
dont use it yet though if you want to use it let me know and ill make it a little more custom
