What a wild week it's been!

On Monday (a U.S. Holiday) we set a traffic record, and we broke it yet again on Thursday.

In that 24 hour period, according to our Sitemeter statistics, we had 6.08 million page views and 5.12 million unique visitors from all over the world.

Those numbers remained almost the same on Friday.

This is fucking insane!!!!

Thank you Britney Spears. Thank you Anna Nicole Smith. Thank each and everyone one of you.

And, of course, thank you Jennifer Aniston. Love ya, Toots!

As if all that weren't bananas enough, this week we rose from #28 to almost cracking the top ten, coming in at #11 in the list of most searched people or things on Yahoo.

I wish that was my site. I need to start a celeb blog/site. I don't have any good "sources" to give me gossip though :( It's lame to have a celeb blog where you just copy other people's crap, it needs to be original...

Damn, it costs 9k to run a small ad on Perez for a week

If you ever thought of advertising on Perez Hilton blog, a 150x200 pixel ad running for a week would cost you a whooping $9K. [Compare that with TechCrunch where a 30-day ad campaign costs just $10K or even BoingBoing where a 125x125 text ad costs only $350 for a week. ]

Perez must make a shitload of money, 9k a week for a small tiny square banner on his site, and he has loads of them. 6 mil visitors a day is pretty damn huge.
