Tempurpedic beds...Who owns one?
If you do lmk if the thing actually helped with your back pain.
I am looking at em now. I think my bed might be the issue |
Can't speak for the bed, but a good office chair might help too

I don't have a tempurpedic bed but I do have a memory foam bed, and there was a night and day difference between that and my old bed. I was in a car accident when I was a teenager and I had back problems on and off most of my life. I would wake up repeatedly throughout the night in my old bed and could never get comfortable, and would have back pain and never feel rested the next day. I bought my memory foam bed and now sleep through the night easily. A shitty bed can kill you as you get older.

I also have a very bad back. I had corrective surgery on my spine when I was 16 to reduce the 45 degree curve I had down to about 28 deg. Was perfectly fine after that for many years but was told that once I got into my 40's my upper and lower spine would start to deteriorate, and sure enough...
My mattress is a custom-made 10" thick futon with a 4" foam center. I've had it for 7 years now and I love it, get very good sleeps with it. I've never tried the temerpedic but have heard good things about them, same with memory foam. My bed cost me around $600 (back in 2000). |
I've only laid on on in the store, damn near fell asleep. I do own the tempurpedic pillows, 100 bucks a piece, and it's the best pillow I've ever owned if that says anything.
Have you tried an inversion table too? I've got a friend who got into an accident and screwed his back over. He swears the thing works like no painkiller can. |
I own one with the adjustable foundation and Therapeutic Massage (extra $$$ of course)
