Mike Semen 02-24-2007 09:18 AM

The test results from sportauto just came out a few days ago.
Notice the cars tested.

Half the guys I drive with locally own Ferrari's. And the thing they always beat everyone up with is the *racing heritage*.

So relax..if I have something to say to xato I will say it to him. Unless of course you are his lawyer.

Bike 02-24-2007 11:10 AM

You are an idiot if you buy a car for it's "racing heritage" in my opinion. Just buy a car cause you think it looks hot and drives good.

I don't really get the whole ferrari vs lambo vs porsche thing - Lambo owners hate Ferrari owners, ferrari owners hate porsche owners...fucking childish

Why don't you just buy all three and enjoy the cars for what they are - I drive Ferrari at the moment and am looking at a lambo now, and I'm pretty sure I will own a porsche one day too...

MediumPimpin 02-24-2007 11:22 AM

I have a Porsche, but I want a Ferrari :)

4Man 02-24-2007 11:28 AM

This thread needs pics and since that's all I'm good for, here's a few from a recent historical race at Daytona.

Agreed, It's just good spirited trash talk...just like Chevy-Ford,BMW-Mercedes...etc.
My Ferrari friends give me crap whether I bring one of my Porsche's or the Lambo to a run.

Why because one person crashed his car?
That page has been posted on every serious sportscar site online.
And so far no one else on any of the boards has ever had a similiar problem with their Lamborghini.
I had a friend who got killed in his CGT last year. Doesn't make the CGT a bad car. It just means when you push the envelope in a highspeed machine, things can and do happen. If it were 100% safe to drive at 180+ mph most guys probably wouldn't bother with it.

Dear Minte,

this kind of thread doesnt make you look more trustworthy, especially that line "Anyone else notice something missing?" which clearly aims at Ferrari or maybe even at myself, but I really dont care.

Every and I mean really EVERY test between the F430 and the Gallardo goes positive for Ferrari, also those results posted by you are not to be taken seriously because I am pretty sure that the Enzo will be somewhere, if not everywhere in the upper places of that list.

I really dont hope that you will have to make the same miserable experiences I had to make with Lamborghini, but you should see the situation and the facts a little more objective.

Best wishes,
Xato

Of course it was clearly aimed at Ferrari. That's what smack talking is.
I have a lot of cars Xato, not just a Lambo. I'm actually much more loyal to Porsche that I am to any of the others. The fact that I currently don't have an F-car in my collection doesn't mean I don't like them or I won't get one.

As far as your agenda against Lamborghini,it's been diagnosed to death by numerous Lamborghini experts. None of them buy into it. And for a lot of reasons.

I stand by what I said a few posts back.
When you drive a high performance vehicle, things can happen. It's the risk we take to get that rush.

ehm... NO :error

Not one.
Not two.
LOTS of them. Concerning the fact that there are not too many Lamborghinis on the road this might say something. And I am by far not informed of all the mysterious crashes that happen.

Things can happen, sure. THAT thing that happened to me, MUSTNT happen.
Simple as that.
