When are they going to make a law that the loser of a suit has to pay the other side for the cost of defending against the suit?

The same should apply in criminal cases. If you have to pay to defend yourself in a criminal case and are aquitted the state should have to reimburse the monies that you have expended in your defense.

The US is the most litigious society on the earth.
