Anyone use the AWIZ affiliate script?

I'd be interested to hear your opinion on it. Whether you use it as a program owner or send traffic to a program that uses it.

I can't really find any programs using it, and the low price makes me a little nervous for some reason, but I want to fully research all of our options before we commit to a tracking system, because changing them later can be a real bitch.

I know the owner. And I use this CMS on my sites.

AWIZ isn't an affiliate script, it's a CMS for pay sites administration.

Oh? http://am.awizsoft.com/features.html

the alchemist 02-23-2007 05:45 PM

Thanks, I stand corrected, I've never seen any program using it.

if it is as confusing as Awiz V5 I would be careful, as powerful as that fucking script is, is it hard to understand half the manual, and any time you email them and ask about anything they get snippy and tell you to read the manual...but majority of the manual is in broken english, so catch22 like crazy there

BUT, they are helpful and do try and do their best for english not being their native language, and awiz paysite manager is amazing, once you figure it out...LOL

Jace 02-23-2007 05:49 PM

the demo looks pretty cool, but now that I look at it, it is very confusing like the awiz paysite manager

Yeah, what Jace said is spot on.

I'm getting it installed as we speak, so I can update as I figure things out.
They are pretty good at getting you through any issues that may arise, but the CMS does take a bit to get used to.
They also are adding Verotel and a couple of other billers to the script. Time will tell.

...mostly we do not tell to "read manual", but specify the concrete place in the manual (sometimes with the direct quote right in the response) which answers to the given question. Because in most cases people prefer to ignore manuals at all. However if the problem is in the rare case of lack of understanding the manual - we do our best to explain with examples or by other words. Hope it's quite logical policy.
And let me hope that most important question is that nobody here (now or earlier) said that he DIDN'T get support and necessary assistance :)

Lenny2: Right on this board one of the our clients recently has announced his program, built completely on aWIZ scripts - Paysite+Affiliate: http://frogcash.com/
Hope it replies to your question.
As to the other clients, for some private reasons they don't wish and we don't ask to parade that they use this software. As you know, money loves silence :)

I don't really buy that argument. 99% of affiliate programs will tell you which software they're using for their backend, and I can tell you which software the top 20 companies in adult are using.

I'm just wondering if your software is being used by a program that handles several hundred thousand tour hits a day, or over 1 million hosted gallery uniques per day. If you can show me someone doing that kind of volume using your software, and your software proves to be stable and accurate in that kind of environment, then we can talk.

If you just give me bullshit lines like "money loves silence" then I'll go with someone else.

nata25 02-26-2007 03:28 AM

I am sorry that you got used to interpret contractors' replies as a bullshit. Personally I told you how things are getting on indeed.
If someone spend 11 000$ for the script - he probably has a reason to cry this brand, since he supposes that became a part of some so-called "luxury society". :1orglaugh
However sometimes rational people prefers to pay the real price for really efficient script, and zero for the bubble script's brand-name. This is a market and you are free to choose your way.

If you ask for a demo - it is provided on the aWIZ site, and furthermore I gave you accepted sample above.
If you will ask can the traffic brings to overloading - I can say that not earlier than any other script: aWIZ is quite stable and tested by the years.

But if you name my responses a bullshit and demand a unpublished info - ...with all my respect to you, probably will be better to choose another product. Good luck!

Jace 02-26-2007 03:33 AM

nata25, I have to agree with Lenny.....

you can't give us one example of a large scale program using that script? seems kind of wierd
