Industry Tradeshows: What's Your Favorite After Hours Events?
 

We have a lot of tradeshows in this industry, a lot of gatherings. Most shows feature after hours events... things like The Player's Ball, Porn Poker Tour, Lightspeed Dodgeball, hospitality suite gatherings, etc. The question is: what are your favorite types of after hours events? The sports events like dodgeball/volleyball, the club events like Player's Ball, private suite parties, or something else. A lot of companies who put on these events could use the feedback when planning what to sponsor next...

I love em all... but I'd have to say private suite parties are my favorite.

And dinners...

Agreed. I really wish we (and I use that word collectively) didn't screw up that National Net suites :( Though Sweet T usually still manages to throw SOME big something at each show - just doesn't match some of the great "suite" stories :)

I really enjoy the opening parties where there is no music and enough space, light, and quiet to see and hear people.

I would rather have dinner with a potential client than anything else. The parties are sometimes fine, Diesel and Sleazydream do nice ones, but most are too loud, too many people getting drunk and I leave early. I'm getting old. :1orglaugh
