ePassporte Downtime
 
Unfortunately our back end processor is experiencing downtime it is being worked on, I am sorry but I don't have an estimate on when everything is back to normal.
Our apologies to anyone that is affected by the downtime.

I have just tested the virtual card and its working, I have not tested the Electron card but it should be working as well.

We understand the inconvenience this is causing for our account holders and we apologize for the length of the downtime, we are doing everything we can to get the system back to normal status.

so i use my epass to pay my hosting, if my hosting gets shut down because the payment can't be made, will i be compensated for my down time, reconnection fee, and other stuff or what?

1st : If you're stupid enough to pay your bills last day due that's your problem.

2nd : I'm sure your hosting compagny could understand.

3rd : Normally you have 30 days foreclosure on bills

Everybody is making really hard on epass when they are the only ones standing up for this industry right now. Chances is that we might push them away... it's not like they are making the bank from us, we are only a little community.

I'm not sure they don't make a "bank" with us .. I think you could be surprised how much webmasters can use ePass. That would be fun to get some numbers from someone at ePassporte.

yesterday i went to the ATM and tried widthdrawing around $880. The ATM told me that the bank did not respond and when i went to the office i saw that epass was in maintainance. Today when i checked my epass balance i see the money i tried to extract at the ATM were taken from my account ... but i did not receive any money from the ATM.

Michael i sent u an email and ICQ offlines.

Contact me ASAP as it is very important as i needed those money now.

the ATM did not give me any receipt unfortunately.

I went to the bank where the ATM is and they told me that for international accounts they can not do anything and that i should contact the bank from where i have the card.

They also told me that the money should appear in my statments in the emitent bank after 48 hrs max.

I hope this is the case and that this will happen because else this is really really bad.

I've had that once or twice with other cards. It should appear back in your account again within 24hrs. Theres not much you can do about it, as the local bank will say it's your banks problem and your bank will say they can only wait 'till the international payment system lets them know the transaction was cancelled or not processed.

if it is still stating outstanding in your epassporte account you will more than likely get it back within 30 days
happens all the time to me when i try to use the virtual card online when processors fraud protection denies the card :P

I have tried the same.. the transaction will be pending for 30 days and then you will get the money back

i talked to Micahel and he gave me a form to complete and send back.

The issue will be solved in 45 days, as he says, which i think is a lot , as it was epass fault for the widthdrawl.

I will update more this thread the next days with news ... i hope i will get some from Michael.... and that the issue will be solved
