I love this show. It's addicting as crack! Anyone else watch it?

I like watching the big houses, the dysfunctional families.

I think all of the women are cool though, except Jo, I think she's kinda lame for being such a dependent gold digger.

All the other housewives are cool though. I don't care if their materialistic or superficial or a bit crazy, their all fun and it's great entertainment! Nothing wrong with being vain and shallow as long as you can hold your own, like Vicky for example. She's successful and works hard...

No, but god there are some hot women on that show.

Jeanna is a bit overweight, and Lauri looks like she had way too much botox and plastic surgeries, Jo looks really old for her age (I can't believe she's 24, she looks like in her 30's). Their daughters are attractive I guess. I don't know about the housewives themselves though.

never watched the show, but just checked out the bravo page with pics. not many pics of lauri though, so from a distance she looks fine.

It looks scary and plasticy, too much botox. I'm ALL for botox and plastic surgery but it should still look "human like" afterwards.

People think Lauri looks "hot" because from far away she has the prerequisite long blonde hair and big rack, but the face... :disgust

And she's also a bad mother. I feel bad for her son.

I only saw parts of season one. Yes, her hair does add to it but I could care less about rack size. You must be a woman, lol. Also her son got out in season one so its all good. She's still hot.

No, it's not all good. Lauri is a bad mother because her ex bf used drugs, and she got her kids exposed around that, plus she totally kicked him to the curb just so she can go gold dig this man George now. She cares more about herself than her kids. She definitely chose her new guy over her kids. Her son won't even have a place to live cause he has nowhere to go.

Lauri and her husband actually hired lawyers where if you say certain things about them they will send threatening letters to have it closed down. There was a topic about the show on TWOP, a tv show forums site, and the housewives thread got closed.

Love the show but was sort fo surprised at the level of lifestyle for people with kind of normal jobs.

Jeanne the chubby lady makes a lot as a realtor. She's one of the top realtors in Coto for Remax and when she sold that house for 10mil her comission was 450k. Even if she sells only 2 houses a year that's almost a mil in comissions. That's not bad.

Tammy and her husband were worth 380 million before they lost everything. Now their supposedly "broke" but Tammy's ex still drives a Bentley. Their not "broke" but just "broke" compared to how rich they were before.

And I read that Vicky makes around 150k a year selling insurance or so plus her hubby works too so they prolly do ok I guess....

George, Lauris' fiancee owns a real estate co and is a "land developer" whatever that means. He looks like he's doing very well.

I was wrong, actually Vicky prolly makes a lot more tha 150k a yr, I dunno how much exactly but it has to be higher than that. For 5 months her husband Don was unemployed so she was supporting him too.

Pics are deceiving , she looks different on tv in close up shots. I can see why lots of people would think she's hot, she kinda resembles pornstar Janine but not as hot.

Laurie has very manly features..and she is scary looking up close. That show is pretty sickening.. it's almost like they dont live in a real world :(

HAHAHAHA...this is why these shows suck. I know Don, I worked with him a looooooooooooong time ago and hadn't talked to him for years. When I saw him on the show, I called him up.

Yes, Don was unemployed. What the show doesn't tell you is that just prior to the start of the show, Don sold the company he owned with two other guys for 56 million dollars.

She wasn't supporting Don.

I have to admit. I LOVE that show. Between the Moms and the daughters, there's at least 3 hot chicks on camera at all times. They live in their own reality and that's why the show is so entertaining.

Why is it sickening and like they don't live in the real world? If they have lots of dough, that's good for them. Lots of people have money and like to enjoy the finer things in life. I don't see anything wrong with it.

What is the "real world"? Being poor? Struggling? Shopping at Sears and KMart?

He doesn't own it anymore, he sold it. It was building materials/supplies.

I heard that the guy Lauri or as people like to call her "Whori" is kinda creepy (George) and actually took legal matters to kick her son Josh out of his ex-wife Gina's house. His ex felt sorry for Lauri's son and took him in and apparently George doesn't like Lauri's son and Lauri would rather pick him over her own son cause she's a gold digger.

that show is an excellent example of whats fucking wrong with our country.

i have to admit i fucking LOVE that show. there was just recently a marathon and i stayed home (instead of going out partying) to watch it. yes im lame like that.

I think the marathons are always on, I watch it all the time. I like it so much I watch all the re-runs. They are always re-running shows.

they just started to promo that over here so it must be starting on one of the cable channels...I must the the only one that hasn't seen desperate housewives though

too funny. didn't know about all the 'real' drama going on. i did meet Whori last summer at a party at LAX (the club, not the airport). seemed nice enough...i think she may have been with that George guy...

Cool. It's such a far drive from OC to La just to party though, I get so tired and stressed when I have to drive to LA. It's like a day long event (getting lost, merging on wrong freeway etc)

Is it hard for "normal" people to get into places like LAX, Hyde or Area?
