Extreme Paychecks WTF?

I'd like someone from Extreme Paychecks to contact me ASAP, just had a call from the bank informing me that your check has been returned due to insufficient funds.

thanks

damn that sucks

uno 02-20-2007 04:23 PM

It happens to everyone occasionally. Ask them to reissue the check and cover the bank fees.

I've had account closed before when a sponsor moved banks or something like that, though insufficient funds is worrying?

A lot of times sponsors will have a separate account they use to pay affiliates out of. They will have to move money into it in order to do the payment. If the timing is off or something causes a delay you can end up with a shitload of NSF cheques.

I wouldn't be surprised if that is something like what happened here. No doubt they will get things fixed for you.

I've seen weirder shit happen. Sometimes its just a banking error, others there's some other weird problem occuring. The company should remedy the situation quickly. In my experiences with them, they are pretty good guys. Did you bring this to their attention before making a GFY thread?

pudcat 02-20-2007 04:37 PM

thanks for your help guys, hopefully they'll get it all sorted

uno: yes I've tried contacting them via icq without any response thus far

They have their own board you could post on....

They have a ticket system you could report the problem on...

They have ICQ#s and email addresses listed on the support page...

There's a phone number on their support page...

This has happened before and I used the ticket system.. something about a transfer from their main account not going thru or something like that... They sent me out a new cheque and included the bank fee I had been charged.

Diligent 02-20-2007 04:47 PM

This probably isn't a real issue, just the irony in "extreme paychecks".. :1orglaugh

(No offence to the owners/reps)

Trax 02-20-2007 04:59 PM

i would like to state that i highly doubt the guys behind extremepaychecks ran out of money
totally inappropriate thread if you ask me

sharp 02-20-2007 05:08 PM

Ouch....I'm sure it'll get taken care of.

swami 02-20-2007 05:10 PM

I have had a nasty dollar check bounce on me years ago.
I hope it gets sorted as i just banked a check of extreme paychecks yesterday.

Viper2K1 02-20-2007 05:13 PM

I'm very sure this is just some bank error or delay of a funds transfer

should have given them some more time to get back to you before going WTF on public boards tho :2 cents:

Mr. Blue 02-20-2007 05:20 PM

Probably should have held off on this thread, it most likely was a banking error, and they have quite a few ways to contact them besides ICQ, including email, their own forum, etc, etc, etc.

yeh I probably should have :)

Was just quite keen to get it resolved as we're going to do our monthly banking today... time delays between AUS and the US make contact difficult at times :(

Also with the postage delays and only going to the bank monthly it ends up being a couple of months before we actually get the money.

But yeh, I probably should have waited a bit longer, sorry about that.

uno 02-20-2007 06:00 PM

It was also just a US holiday.

The extreme paycheck guys are good peeps and they'll settle this up with you asap...You might want to drop an email to nate and also stop off at their support forum. :)

By the time the check is returned to the depositor the company writing the check will have already been notified that they bounced a check. The right thing to do would have been to notify him ASAP and let him know they would correct the issue instead of waiting to see if he complained. :2 cents:

rip raster 02-20-2007 06:26 PM

did you try to contact them before posting here??

I'm guessing the bought guys drinks at a show and are stand up "bros" so it must be some huge mistake on your part, your bank's part, or innocent technical error on their end. I mean they are bros.

All their sites, ratio isn't great though they keep making sales with their sites towards the bottom of my list.

gecko 02-20-2007 07:23 PM

has happened to me a few times, no worries just hit up the sponsor

fatal attraction 02-21-2007 01:29 AM

No one from there responded yet?

pudcat 02-21-2007 04:25 PM

Thanks to Extreme for sorting this out and sorry for being so quick to start a thread here :)

The reason given for it being returned:

Quote:

the check was probably returned b/c of our fraud system it happens once and a while all you have to do is tell me what the dollar ammount is of the check and I will have a new one cut as soon as I get your responce and I will add the $20 to that check to cover your fees.

shermo 02-21-2007 05:07 PM

The same happened to me...But I posted on their ticket system and it was sorted real fast with the fees attached. I won't lie though...It's happened to me 4 times since 2001. :X
