"Cat people" are strange.

"Cat People" with one cat are strange enough as it is, especially single men with one cat. Now that is especially disturbing.

"Cat People" with more than one cat are not only strange but dirty as well.

Any truth to this? Discuss.

Thanks to the genetically engineered parasite that all humans have circulating throughout their bodies thanks to those filthy feline fleshbags, humans are compelled to take in as many cats as possible into their homes. The more cats they own, the heavier concentrated the parasite becomes in their bodies and thusly the cycle repeats itself. The feline parasite urges them to bring more and more of those filthy bastards into their home until eventually you have the crazy cat ladies who would rather feed their “pets” rather than eat themselves. Eventually the crazy cat lady dies and the cats will consume her body then move on to the next target.

Based on my experiences, I tend to agree. The exception would be people that live on a farm and keep their cats outside 99% of the time. They are really handy for keeping the mice population down.

I know I will take flack for this, but I find people that keep more than one dog in their house are even worse, especially the shedding kind. The memories of me sleeping on black dog-haired covered cloth couches at one of my friends houses makes me want to curl up and die.

They also leave a smell in the house (that the owner doesn't notice) that never goes away.

Yes. Dog piss is a nasty smell I agree. But nothing is worse than soaked in cat piss.

I have 1 cat. She is very finicky and picky. She spends most the day sleeping or licking herself. The second you touch her she is cleaning wherever you touched. I have her trained pretty well. When, opperative word, when I'm home, she doesn't climb on my furniture or table surfaces. But she is definately a little gaurd cat. I don't mess with her. She scratches. She used to be sweet. I dunno, they are crazy and flip the switch on you from time to time. But I like her being in the house. I'm sick I guess.

DirtyDreamer 02-20-2007 03:24 PM

She wasn't weird:

I have 1 cat. I just kind of saved it from getting run over as a kitten and ended up keeping it because I have a vet friend that gets me free shots, food, neutering etc.

It's annoying but entertaining. Sort of like you guys!

G-Rotica 02-20-2007 03:36 PM

I don't have a cat. My dog does. She's his toy, he plays with her all day long.

Ssv 02-20-2007 04:05 PM

Don't like cats...Had one for 2 weeks, but I realised that I'm very afraid of cats...They look cute, but they are strange.

ztik 02-20-2007 04:08 PM

Most likely it, meaning the furniture, the carpets & your clothes smell like industrial strength ammonia and you do not even realize it. I am being serious to. :2 cents:

If you think cat people are strange, you should meet some ferret people.

Congratulations, you are one of the rare few that can resist their mind-controlling parasites. People like you are far and few between -- you have no idea how special you are. Although all humans, including yourself, are susceptible to the parasite at least you are able to recognize cats for what they are: blood thirsty, crazed balls of flesh and bone, stitched together by hate and destructive tendencies. Felinity and Humanity?s fight for dominance stretches back nearly as long as the two species have existed on this rock. Their smaller stature was offset by their vastly greater intellect. Long ago we won the battle between our two races using brute strength. That will no longer work today and because of that we are much closer to losing the war. Groups like PETA, ALF, and Al Qaeda ensure that cats will always have a ?leg-up? on humans so to speak.

Yes, really. Cats carry the Toxoplasma gondii parasite, which then pass it on to humans. It permeates all of our body, including the brain. It effects every decision we do whether we realize it or not ? cats perfected the parasite thousands of years ago in order to become our masters. The vast majority of humans are highly susceptible to this parasite, only a rare few can fight the effects of this parasite.

Dollarmansteve 02-21-2007 11:09 AM

All people who are cat people have cats. Not all people who have cats are cat people.

"Cat People (Putting Out The Fire)"

See these eyes so green
I can stare for a thousand years
Colder than the moon
It's been so long
And I've been putting out fire
With gasoline

Feel my blood enraged
It's just the fear of losing you
Don't you know my name
Well, you been so long

See these eyes so red
Red like jungle burning bright
Those who feel me near
Pull the blinds and change their minds
It's been so long

Still this pulsing night
A plague I call a heartbeat
Just be still with me
Ya wouldn't believe what I've been thru
You've been so long
Well it's been so long
And I've been putting out fire
with gasoline
putting out fire
with gasoline

See these tears so blue
An ageless heart
that can never mend
These tears can never dry
A judgement made
can never bend
See these eyes so green
I can stare for a thousand years
Just be still with me
You wouldn't believe what I've been thru

You've been so long
Well, it's been so long
And I've been putting out fire
with gasoline
putting out fire with gasoline
