the first day back is always the hardest...but you are reminded of the energy you feel when you work out and keeps the motivation to go back high..

Good stuff man! i started to get back into shape little over a year ago and it is simply amazing at the confidence and energy level you have when you are back in shape.

Just remember it is a lifestyle change, you have to treat it as that to be fully successful. Good luck!

fuzebox 02-20-2007 11:04 AM

The first few days is the hardest, it gets so much easier after that :thumbsup

NinjaSteve 02-20-2007 11:05 AM

Yeah I hear you with the car salesman shit. Just let a person work out and stop trying to sell services over and over and over and over.

JD 02-20-2007 11:06 AM

give yourself 1 cheat day a week man. You're more likely to stay on track that way. Gives you a weekly "goal" I guess. Works fucking wonders for me :)

Screaming 02-20-2007 11:08 AM

Platinum Dave 02-20-2007 11:23 AM

I gave Phoenix a 5 pound head start to make the challenge a challenge :)

So by April 1st who weighs less is the bet.

It's a no brainer I've won.

50 Min cardio yesturday and today already... GAME ON!!!

In Phoenix case it's not one cheat day a week, it's work out once a week :winkwink:

It's totally a lifestyle change, 10 months ago I seperated from a 4 year girlfriend and started my lifestyle change and have lost 35 pounds and feel better then ever right now.

It's so worth the change... people get in relationships and get comfortable and let themselves go, that's what happened to me.

Never again, this time it's for life I am choosing to be healthy and in shape for good.

this what kind of happened to me i was a lil overweight for a couple of years and after breakin up with a longterm girlfriend i used it as motivation.

before i used to think "o i dont have time to work out" but the hour or so you spend working out adds hours of energy to your day which makes it totally worth it.

i am down around 35 pounds now and back in full shape.

i have not even found it hard to make healthy lifestyle changes, i just drink alot of water, drink less juice (sugar) and have a steak or some chicken breast every single day while cutting out fast food and beer.

simple changes go along way in the long run.

nice, ya weights are huge, i know some people who lost alot of weight by doing it all dieting and cardio and they look terrible imo.

look deflated, they look worse then when they were bigger.

stickyfingerz 02-20-2007 12:02 PM

I need a personal trainer. I get busy working and dont think about working out till Im tired and ready to sleep. But I did start up again a few weeks ago trying to look a bit better for costa. I look a little bit better, but still have a ways to go.

yeah you have to have the whole routine

i usually do non stop weights keeping the blood rate going the whole time..then just 20 minutes cardio at the end as a wind down

i dont tqake long breaks between sets

well that is whati used to do..today i just played around

Bryan G 02-20-2007 12:06 PM

Tim Hortons Tim bits are really hard to resist when you smoke a joint that's for sure. Phoenix you ever like to partake?

My brother worked for bally's while in college very very aggressive sales but that comes from on top. They had numbers they had to hit no matter what.

I gave Phoenix a 5 pound head start but that was artificially high as it was on my high end for that week. So now I'm at a new low and already beating Phoenix.

But we all knew that was going to happen.

I got a 1 pound lead.
