Fuck, My GF is missing!
 

This sucks. She left to goto a wedding on saturday night. She had work today. And she never came back. I called her work and she is not there.

Not like her, her cell is off. She is really pretty girl, and she went to a small town in a rural area (Im not even sure which town though, thats all she said.) so im really fuckin worried.

She normally calls 1-2 times a day to check and see how me and the dogs (2 rescued greyhounds) are doing.

We have been together 8 years now (since before highschool!!) this shit like this has never happened. So fucked up

I called the cops and they said I have to wait until tonight to report it (48hours)

I hope everything will turn out ok!

first check with the people who's wedding she would attend and ask if she
ever made it there, when they last seen her and if they noticed anything odd.
Most important of all is stay calm, in state of panic you are not able to think
and act rationally. If it gets to much....stop doing anything get yourself back
together and pick up where you left off again.

DON'T DO ANYTHING while you are not able to think rationally. Write everything you've done, called, spoke to with relevant info like names,
numbers, time you spoke to them on a paper so you can double check
at any time what you've done, and any other info that might be valuable
at some time.

Aks the people she visited who else was there and get in touch with
those aswell, did she leave alone? Did she tell anyone where she was going?
A bar, restaurant or hotel or something? Call those aswell.

If you can get assistance from a good friend, take it. 2 people know more
than one and you can save valuable time if indeed something turns out
to be wrong.

Once you can report her missing to the police, bring copies of the sheets
you kept with everything you've done so far. This again will save a lot of
time and double work by the police.

Good Luck, keep your head together and take regular breaks to get your
back together then get back to it and start each time with checking your
sheet to verify you haven't missed or forgot something.

Very nice all the funny remarks. I'll remind those and who made them if you
ever get into a situation where you miss a loved one. We can all make silly
jokes when she's back and all is well, you all gonna sit with your foot in your
mouth if indeed something bad has happened which I sincerely hope won't
be the case.

I'll assume none of you have realised any of this before making those remarks
better start thinking if you can possibly say something that can help this
guy in resolving this problem. When she's safe back I'm sure he won't mind
you all sling smartass remarks towards him.

if you want or have nobody else to verify what steps to take feel free to hit
me up. Don't know if I can be of much help but at least I can assist you in
getting important steps done and check with you to see if there's any follow
up required on anything.

If you have a close friend who can do this, go to him if you don't and feel
like you need a soundboard feel free to hit me up even though were strangers.

Start preparing this:
Write down her cell phone - try to get the cellphone company number handy
Her license plate number - her license info (probably look in files)
ID she may have with her - the details if you have them
Car info - model, make, year & if it's equipped with GPS tracking system
If equipped with GPS tracking system - get the company info

If she's not back by evening, you'll have the info ready for police when you make your report.

In the meantime - I'd contact her best friend **see if she knows where she is**
Contact her family
If you have info of who's wedding - contact them
If you don't know the people who's wedding she was going to, contact her co-workers for any info they may have.
Try to remember the last time you talked with her & where she was, any indication of the road she took to get there.
If she has text messaging - try to text message her perhaps she can't make calls but can read them/write them.

I hope you won't need any of this info but just in case...
