I need a mouse that DOES NOT CLICK

well, actually a mouse that will simulate a click without me having to press a button - not sure what, probably something with infrared or some shit, like there's little thingy on top of the mouse that you cover with your finger and the mouse "clicks"

does anybody have an idea what I'm talking about?

lol, I had to Google Spedia

nah - the reason is that when I work for like 8-10 hours straight my fingers get really tired form clicking the stupid mouse and I;m sure that there's something that's much better that can do the same job - like some ultra cool new device or something, may be I should make a trip to some computer store tomorrow

Do your fingers weigh so much that to push a mouse button in 1/32th of an inch tires you out? Poor breeder........ :(

You might find trackballs cause more repetitive stress discomfort... but then, you may not.

It's probably best for your hand to switch up on different devices every now and then.

Or just use one of those squishy balls to help out between click sessions.

Get any of the Logitech laser ones. I have MX1000 and it has buttons on the side that you can configure as a click. It feels very good in the hand too. I think they have a new one out now that's supposed to be even better.

Get a better mouse. I use a Razer Diamondback
They market them as gaming mice, but I read a good review of it on a forum and decided to pick one up when I saw it on woot.com awhile back. Seriously, it's the best mouse I've ever used.

That seems like an odd thing to say.. Best Mouse? But when you use the computer all day long, all you're really using is the mouse and keyboard. It makes a big difference. Now I just need to get a nice keyboard...

mx8829 02-19-2007 03:14 PM

yea that is a good one, but you still have to click though

Not sure if they work with Windows, but the Apple Mighty Mouse rocks.

Dowload this program call RSIGUARD. http://www.rsiguard.com/

It makes it so that whenever you point your mouse at a link for a certain amount of time (you can designate the time, like 1/4rth of a second or whatever) it will automatically click it for you. I use it everyday so I don't have to click stuff because I find clicking stuff really hurts my wrists/fingers and will prolly lead me to carpal tunnel faster... This thing is AWESOME!!

Just TRY it and you will SEE. You can use it with the mouse you have now.

Plus they have a free trial so you can see it for yourself!!!!

wyldworx 02-19-2007 07:47 PM

how about one that squeeks...

ayne468 02-19-2007 08:26 PM

miss_twisted 02-19-2007 08:59 PM

Zverka 02-19-2007 09:09 PM

and how about this one :winkwink:

http://www.adultish.com/titmouse.jpg

and yes, there's little "thingy" on top of the mouse that you can cover with your
finger and the mouse "clicks" without having to press the button :winkwink:
simulate clicks, and even "it" can simulate an orgasm :pimp

sorry, no infrared in this version :winkwink:
