Gee, after being hooked on a sporting event, I completely ignored the news for the past week or so. To my surprise I hear that Doubya plans to attack Iraq again... for what reason ?

Could anyone enlighten me what gives this ape the right to dig his nose into any pile of shit that is on earth ?

Well, I dont know what gives him the "right to dig his nose into any pile of shit that is on earth" ... and I dont even like doubya but I'm assuming their logic follows along these lines...

If we dont attack iraq (or more specifically, saddam and his regime) then they will attack us, one day, and we won't like it... because it wont be with conventional tanks, planes or armies... but with biological and chemical warfare that will decimate our country.

So we either attack them first, make a few countries mad and not give a shit and save our own asses.. or try to play the nice guy role (like we did so many times in the past) and get our feelings hurt later down the line.

I dunno, the political climate right now is rough but just remember that there are millions of people that hate the united states because of propaganda (im sure there's a lot who hate us just cause but im not talking about them). Look at what's happening to israel.. they're being killed left and right and the ONLY reason why the devastation isnt much more is because the palestinian terrorists dont have any other way to do more destruction but to strap a bomb on some idiot and have him run at a bus.

We've already seen the US's two greatest buildings that stood for more than just the "tallest buildings" go down in a puff of smoke literally... and some countries rejoiced about it. What does that tell you? IF they could make all of manhattan go away, they will.

Unlike them we're talking about removing Saddam Hussein, a known tyrant and ruthless leader of his people from power to give iraq a better way of living. You can't make the argument that the peopel want him as their leader, everything they see, read or hear is somehow influenced by Saddam. He's the king propagandist... and even his own ex-army officers wanna try to kill him to remove him from power. We'd be doing the world a favor by removing that idiot from power.

Then we should do the same here in the states and get our idiot outta power HAH. =D

If Iraq is developing a Nuke why does the Press have that sensitive information ? Why is the Press running reports of a possible attack on Iraq ? It seems to me thats alot like kicking a bees nest. It also seems to me that sensitive information like that should be classified and only shared with other super powers who are directly affected.

You think some loser in Iraq making a dirty bomb is this countries worst problem ? Haven't you figured out yet that every republican president in the last 30 years has has some type of "war" that kept the focus off their real agenda ? Are you still waiting for Reagan to win the drug war too ? G.W. needs to win a war or he wont be re-elected.

Nuclear bombs are not like what you see in the movies. Iraq cant make a Nuke and put it in a briefcase for smuggling into the country. Small nukes are made by countries who have mastered nuclear science. Iraq will be lucky to make a dirty bomb let alone a bomb small enough to be smuggled. Iraq is much more likely to accidentally set off the bomb in their own country and kill their neighbors.

The real problem facing this country is our failing economy but every time GW is on the news he is talking about terrorists. The people of this country feel the effects of our economy every single day. To the people who cant pay their bills or feed their kids that is more important than a war on terrorism. The WTC disaster hurt 2000 people, the economy is hurting 20 million people daily.

So by that logic, we should only deal with the worst problems and leave the minor issues alone? Iraq is a minor issue, but still needs to be dealt with. The surrender that Iraq agreed to during Desert Storm allowed for unlimited inspections by UN weapons inspectors. Iraq complied for a while, but then threw the inspectors out of the country. There have been no inspections since. Iraq has also decided not to recognize the no-fly zone also written into the surrender and frequently launches military planes which are promptly shot down.

They do need to be dealt with, but I don't believe there should be an extended military effort against them. Maybe some cruise missles and a couple of weeks of bombing. I don't really give a shit if we get Hussein or not. If we DO kill him, there are a few million other mustache wearing psychos to take his place. If he has no military and no research facilities, he won't be nearly the pest he is now.

No, we should have priorities and deal with them in a fashion that reflects their real importance. The homeland security bill will cost an estimated $27 billion. I say use that money as a tax incentive to encourage companies to hire again. We don't need a $27 billion dollar Bill to beat terrorists as much as people need jobs.

If GW has strong intelligence telling him the Iraq has a nuke and plan on using it then start bombing them. Don't tell the press, dont make a 27 Billion dollar Bill. Just take that fucker out.
