EPassporte security problems?

My guess to all of you cats who have had problems with people gaining access to your account is this.

You signed up for a partner account, setup hosting somewhere, subscribed to a msg board, subscribed to a membership to view content, anything that requires you to create a password (which in most cases everyone has the same password for everything).. then either the owner of the site put two and two together and started trying your usernames and passwords at epass, or someone compromised there site and put two and two together.

So for all you people who say there?s no way you got "phished", or "gave anyone your information".. don't use the same fucking password that you use for everything else. All passwords should be different.. at least by 1 or 2 chars.

A huge percentage of all "hacks" are social rather than security related.

Some how I dout the people who had problems would be that stupid.

Noboby uses their bank pin as a password and a epass password is equal to a bank pin.

If you've read any of the recent threads about people's accounts being hacked, you would have read about them using passwords like 'a329QR28' that were only used at ePass.

If you read gfy.com/showpost.php?p=11924350&postcount=109 my other post, my username and password are not the same as either my msg board logins, or my bank acct info.

How someone that hacks my acct knows about the funds before I get them is just way to coincidental. Are they logging in and checking my acct every 10 minutes or so? Who has that much time on their hands. I only get transfers at certain times of the month, and these transfers were inititated from my poker affiliate accts on like the 12th. They enter my epass acct on the 13th at say noon, the funds are gone by 1:00. Very, very suspicious. Not only that, but the lady at epass that I spoke with told me that there was no indication of a password change or email address change, but both were done on my acct, because I could not login, and could not verify my email address as it was [email protected]. Free email acct obviously.

Time to do something, this cannot continue. This is hack #2 against my acct, and I specifically asked for p2p transfers to be blocked and they set it up that way.

from the recent epassporte thread:

"This is bullshit, my account was hacked into back in mid 2006 the guy got $500. Then I changed my username and password opened a new account, with a username that I never use for anything, and a password that is random numbers and letters. I told them when I opened the new account that I specifically wanted all p2p transfers blocked. They set me up with a limited account and that was one of the limitations.

I am convinced this is an inside job, I get payments at all different times of the month, so what, somebody logs in every day, and just happens to log in right when I get paid? No f'ing way. Somebody on the inside would have had to unblock my p2p transfer limitation, and know when I got a big transfer loaded to my account, as I always pull my money out as soon as it gets there. This scumbag new about the funds before I did, and I initiated the payments to my account they day before"

Its definately security issues, because hackers (or insiders) are able to unblock p2p transfers. And it didnt happened for the first time.

Even Epassporte themselves doesnt reply in these threads full of allegations about their security issues.
