Tires are 34''. Way too big for the stock spare tire carrier. For now it's just chillin in the back of the Jeep. I've got way to much shit to do to it before I get to adding a new rear bumper with swing away tire carrier.

You can't compare a hemroid exploding jeep that is built to run in the mud against a Hummer2 set to run the city with pure comfort but yet can still go play? The hummer is a toy, not a rugged 4x4 truck.

Rugged wise, I have been in some “Humvees” that would whoop that jeeps ass, hands down no questions asked, the jeep would simply stall-out trying to go where a Humvee can. At that, the Humvee can dash into a trees, or over barbed wired, can take small arms fire, can run on 4 flat tires or 1, can take a head on collision at 35ish and still run, it can drive under 6 feet of water, it can have a 50 cal machine gun mounted on top of it…..

WTF is a jeep?

A Hummer2 is a city car – A Humvee is the real 4x4 version.

I guess it's a good thing he didn't spraypaint Humvee instead of H2 then isn't it? :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Why are you introducing a completely seperate, unrelated vehicle to the discussion?

well, I bet your fellow soccer moms are just so envious!:1orglaugh :1orglaugh

H2 = pretend offroad vehicle for soccer moms

northboy 02-19-2007 10:23 AM

the jeep would destroy the H2 in any offroad tests. The jeep is specifically designed for that, all I watch are those rock shows where the Jeep goes over massive boulders. I thought the H2 fad was over by now, all the guys I know who used to drive them have moved on.

The only similarity between the Hummer and the H2 is the name, and that was because TahoeWithMorePlastic doesn't roll off the tongue very well... No one here is trashing the original Hummer.

I understand people aren't comparing the two hummers. However comparing a jeep which is designed to go extreme 4x4, and a h2 which which is designed for comfort then 4x4ing is gay. Why can't the Jeep guys pick a fight with truck designed to 4x4?

The few jeep/h2 videos I have seen show the h2 trying to climb rocks, or go through paths cut by jeeps and small trucks. Hummers aren't built to climb rocks. The entire front suspension of an h2 simply isn't strong enough to handle it.

An h2 isn't any different than some of the other luxury 4x4 trucks. I haven't seen that many trying to 4x4, most are tricked out and just look sharp as shit, better than any jeep I have seen running around.

sharp 02-19-2007 02:09 PM

it would look better if it was lined up straight. :O

HeadPimp 02-19-2007 02:18 PM

Love it! I will agree with everyone else, that the H2 is just eye candy. Mostly around here I see really tiny, bitchy looking Asian women driving them. Like Asians should be allowed to drive at all, let alone something big.

:thumbsup :thumbsup

my rims on my h2 truck cost more than a jeep... i don't see the anger these retards have against the h2... how do you compare 5k pos to a 60k car? it's like comparing a corvette to a lambo because "they're both 'sport'" ...

I can take my to the dirt, climg what i want and yes i call it 'off-roading'... i dont need to fucking climb some retarded rock that wasn't made for climbing.. I enjoy the challenges i've forced apon my H2 and it has never disappointed me.. I got my airbags, leather interior, a/c, heated seats, power everything, modern safety features... I can do it all with no worries.. plus it's a lease.. most hummer owners don't take their shit off roading cuz theyre cheap and scared something will happen...

imo, it was built to do ALOT more than what you people think. so don't hate, H2 looks nicer :)

like i said before.. i can have all my fun i want, stop at the car wash, and still pimp with my ride... you cant with ur pos jeep

:thumbsup :2 cents: :pimp

The Jeep is obviously towing the broken-down Hummer down the hill.

:winkwink:

ArkansasDave 02-20-2007 03:38 PM

I have a 'real Jeep', a 1978 CJ with a 258 straight 6, 4.2 liter.
Full cage roll bar with a 2" body lift with 12.5x33's. I've had it for 15 years and been EVERYWHERE in an OVER it THRU it and and UP it and I LOVE it!
However, I doubt i'll be pulling any Hummers out soon even if they are H-2's.

TGPFactoryMike 02-20-2007 03:45 PM
