New! Google finds the search results most relevant to you, based on your search history

just noticed this on a search i did.

I'm surprised it's only happening now; I figured they would have been doing it for years. I wrote a very simple search engine back in 1999 (using mainly 'sh' scripts :1orglaugh ) and the results were (slightly) biased by previous searches. I wanted to take it further and also bias the results based on clicks, but that was a little too complex for the sticky tape and bandaids scripting I was using...

Sounds ok but if you work in internet porn and someone else uses your computer that kind of fucks up your privacy

I'm not sure I like that.
