Spam Me With Cms

I am researching some options for CMS. I could have my programmer write one. But I could also look at the other turn keys out there.

Please hit me up (in thread) with all you've got.

Thanks in advance.

:thumbsup

One of my friend's sent me...

http://joomla.org - joomla (this is free & open source so often included in hosting packages that have 'fantastico').
http://awiz.com - awiz...i like the look of this one a lot, the price is not too bad either.
http://toomuchmedia.com - carma (seems to be one of those progs people either love or hate.
http://mansionproductions.com - mas (i think the people behind the 'nats' affiliate prog system are behind this one.
http://sitedepth.com - sitedepth (as the name implies, very indepth, apparantly once used to it, it's amazing)

Mansionproductions - MAS is by the same guys as MPA3, not NATS who is TooMuchmedia.

That being said we use MAS and the support is good. the program is pretty solid and they do affordable mods if you have a custom feature you want added.

For ultimate flexibility though if you have a programer ready to go, that is the way to go I think.

Wel lthey could do it custom. But they would have to do it from scratch. The main thing I am looking for is a nice search function so that people can find their favorite model sets, etc.

Anything else is gravy. But if there is one out on the market that's close to what I need, then I would prefer going that way versus the expense, and time delay of the other.

Sitedepth is absolutely great, and I'd love to hug and squueze Alfredo from there for putting up with my shit and taking my demands and requests, and custom this and custom that with amazing grace.

HOWEVER...

Sitedepth doesn't have a search-function..yet atleast. I know Alfredo is coding that, but it probably isn't up for the public release yet, not sure if it will be either.
