Epassporte fucked up my weekend!

So, I moved from Norway to Sweden - Big fucking deal! None of my 4 other banks could care less. They just put down a new address to my mail...

Then we have Epassporte - They had to suspend my account - Without even telling me! No email, nothing! I had to find out when I was trying to pay for my groceries at the local store... Being a scandinavian I NEVER carry more cash around then whatever I need for the bus. Cash is so 90's over here and the only checks I have seen the past 2 decades are from american sponsors and ccbill... Needless to say I couldn't pay and had to leave the store without my shit in a bag...

Then I got home and found an email from Epiccash - They asked me to check on my epassporte account since their payment bounced back to them... What the fuck! I can't pay my shit, but now I can't even receive money?
Give me a fucking break!

So... I picked up the phone trying to call epassporte customers service... LOL - What a waste of time! I logged in to my account and tried sending them an email thru their support forms... Naturally the form was broken and messages could not be sent... I spent 3 more days trying to call them until I finally got thru to them!

A woman asked me all kind of things just to answer my call. She needed my address, my account id, my email address, she also needed to know the exact ammount of my latest account activity, from whom it had be sent and on which date, my account balance etc... When she was thru I was surpised she didn't ask the size of my feet or my dick for that matter...

Now I am getting this form emailed to my account where I am asked to scan and email them a copy of my id, a copy of my credit card and one more official paper clearly stating my new address. I did and sent it to them 2 days ago - Still I haven't heard anything from them. I just tried my card but it is still blocked and now I guess I'll be staying home watching TV all the weekend!

Thank you Epassporte for such a great service!
Just a heads up for those of you planning on moving...

That's not the point. The point is I am counting on my money to be there whenever I need it, and if there is a problem I expect to be notified about it and get help solving the problem!

The way Epassporte operated here is so far from good service as possible.
I have money to eat and live, but I made some big investments when moving and I was counting on these funds as spending money.

Thank you Michael for trying to solve this. I wish you were just as easy to reach thru your website or by phone...

epassporte again? never had problems with them~!

stev0 02-17-2007 01:47 PM

Wow, thats terrible... Sounds like epassporte still has a lot to improve on. Micheal seems like the only one there that actually gets anything done.

so now you learned to always have cash somewhere instead of dependings on
only companies and machines to get to your money. There's nothing that will
ever beat cold hard cash......except lightweight crispy, paper cash

Not likely. - Not unless we get bombed back to the stone age for some reason. Only lesson learnt - Allways carry at least 2 cards! :thumbsup

agree .Epassporte's message's center really sucks !
Absolutely usless gadget :Oh crap
the only way to get somebody for help is [email protected] from your own email

kaori 02-17-2007 02:46 PM

I sent a message asking for my cvv number - their faq says it's supposed to be in a 'welcome email that can't be deleted'.
I don't have that message....

1 week later, no response.. sent another message... another week, no response..
had to spend 30 minutes waiting long distance to get the message 'resent'...

Chris 02-17-2007 03:00 PM

they made you answer all that shit ?
i somehow do not belive they needed to know your last transaction / date and the exact amount it was ?

i use epass daily and i could not even tell you that?

you'll remember my words when you need money or pay something and the
whole atm network where you are in down. It does happend you know, had
it happen to me once in Venezuela on the day I should leave the ATM/bank
networks were down and I had to pay my hotel. There I was with 6 cards
I couldn't use and no cash in my wallet. Had to call home and beg for someone
to send me western union 3 days in a row (it happened on a friday) and there's
a limit you can send/receive in a single day per person. So I had to rebook
my flight, stay 3 days longer in a 5 star hotel resort (this wasn't too bad though) before I could pay my bill and fly back home :thumbsup

PoKo 02-17-2007 03:21 PM

I see your point ServerGenius, but I don't live in Venezuela, I live in Scandinavia. No one carrys cash around here. That's just the way it is. Plastic is safer and available all over the place. If I go to the 3.rd world or to the US for that matter I would carry som cash, but not around here... Like I said, the only place I need cash is paying for my bus ticket

You probably don't have that message because they have a new mailsystem now and you can't get to the old one where this email resides - same as me...

Most places I shop online I can also pay by any CC or debit card, just not with my Epassporte virtual card... They just won't accept it.

Amen. I'm sure things would be exponentially worse if he wasn't around.

PoKo 02-17-2007 03:28 PM

Thanks to Michael my account is now active again, only 2 hours since I first posted here! I know this was the place to get some customer service! ;)

Thanks again Michael. Good work! Have a nice weekend!

She told me they needed it to make sure I was the right owner of the account before answering any of my questions. This info is available at your epassporte account overview when logged in.

can't you see that the midget is ass broke and the only money he had were the $75.00 in his epassporte account???

oh, no, I'm a Scandinavian, I don't carry cash around, that so 90s

well, then ask your Scandinavian bank to implant a chip inside your pale Scandinavian dick, and the next time you go shopping you can just swipe it an voila - you;'ve paid for your goods

Jensen 02-17-2007 04:27 PM
