I just played the best poker I've ever played. And lost.
 

Played all day, but these are the defining moments..

Went all in in with AA in a $2-3 NL game with $600 on a 7Q2 flop.. Got called by QA and the river was a Q.

Bought back in for $500, got pocket rockets, opponent bets $100, I go all in against AJ. Flop is JJ2.

I love poker. I had about 10:1 on both those bets. :)

It happens. Anybody can lose or win a hand with bullets to be fair.

I'm often amazed when people wonder how casinos can afford all of those expensive flashing lights and stuff...in case you haven't heard, Las Vegas is a city built upon bad math. Even 98% payouts mean that almost all players will lose eventually.

sorry but how can going all-in twice with AA be "playing your best ploker"?! if that is your best poker you have a lot to learn ;) that being said you got sucked out badly twice and you definitely didn't do anything wrong!! happens all the time in poker, but the stats are with you the next 100 times you go all-in with AA :)

how exactly did you get that you were 10:1 favorite on that game.
in both cases the opposing player had one of your cards (the ace)
preflop aa vs aj is not 10:1 it like 57/43
after the flop you flipped and your odds got really bad because you only had 1 out.

I have always wanted to learn how to play poker...but have never got round to it:(

Pocket Aces.. The worst hand in poker LOL.. When I get aces they almost always get cracked. The shoe was on the other foot last night. My buddy tried to slow play his aces on me but I flushed him out.

what a dumb play, all in twice with pocket aces?
