I took this from a webmaster site. Are there any scripts out there where you can actually monitor how many clicks youre sending to an affiliate so you dont have to rely on their stat readings?

Just use sponsors that count 1st page hits only and dont have misleading stats... here is a good one to use: http://www.FreakBucks.com/main.php :)
