How to make real good money in this industry.
 

The way to make real good money in this industry is to somehow get only 10% of the people of the people you deal with to keep their promises at all times.

Yes that is how sad it is. I swear if I could raise my percentage of people not flaking, blowing deadlines, or all together even attempting to keep their word (they rarely do) beyond 15% I would be rich.

That's it, yup truth be told that if you deal with others odds are that at least 90% of the people you encounter or talk to will just blow smoke up your ass and never deliver.

So the secret to this business is just to find the right 10 to 15% of people.

That drops down to about 2% with designers.

Sad but true...

Work work and then work some more, that is the big secret

I try my best to be within that 10%, though we all slip sometimes. When I do, I hope someone calls me on it.
