I'm a huge RUSH fan and was just reading the news over at IGN. Of course, I already knew an album was coming out soon, but now I have the date:thumbsup There are a ton of classic bands coming out with new albums this year....should prove to be a fun summer of concerts....

That was the shortest sample I ever heard. Wouldn't mind hearing How Geddy's voice sounds after all this time........

I know it's waaaaaay too short. Single is released March 19. I'm looking forward to hearing more of the song. Such a tease.

As much as I hate to say it... Probably. Every album since Grace under Pressure has sucked pretty much. I'm a fanatic though so I keep buying them.

I am intensely interested in this one as everyone that's heard it says it's back to their roots and much heavier than anything they've done in years.

We'll see.

heh - I hope to hell it brings back some of the old rush sound. Counterparts made me kinda ill. I had to play Trees and Closer To The Heart about a thousand times to get that stuff outta my head :)

Rush played the radio soo much in Canada as a teenager that if I hear Getty Lee's voice I instanlty get sick, much like the guy in a Clockwork Orange.

I have a feeling this is the album that will bring that old Rush sound/style back. I can't think of any other reason for that "clip". It seems so deliberate in the way it says HEY! doesn't this sound sorta familiar to you older guys? well guess what? we've got a whole album of stuff like it. Of course the flip side of that is the rest of the album sucks balls and this clip is the only part of any song they thought might get fans excited. :Oh crap :1orglaugh

March 19th is the single release date. I'm so excited. PS they've got some tentative tour dates on www.rushisaband.com I'm going to try to hit both Florida shows, and the one in NY since I'll be visiting family up there around that time.
