AUSTRALIA !!! The Trip And Parties ARE GO !!!!

It's on like Donkey Kong !!!

28th April (if you are leaving from USA) and flying back 7th May (later if you wish !!!).

Ok, for my friends, hit me up at [email protected] or ICQ 293 070 684 and I'll get you on the list - we will need to finalize numbers and what not no later than mid March .. so bear that in mind ;-)

This is NOT a general webmaster event, so we are NOT seeking sponsorships or what not, this is PURELY a bunch of friends together for a guided tour and to celebrate my engagement and the big FOUR-OH birthday on Cinco De Mayo.

Of course business opps will abound, but that is NOT the key focus. It's all about working to live, so live it !!!!

Great economy Qantas deals can be found here for international return AND internal flights - http://www.qantas.com.au/regions/dyn...s/airpassIndex.

All flights internally preferred have been selected as well, and planning and costing for everything below is well underway ....

You look after the air flight bookings, my wonderful fiance is looking after the payments and bookings and everything for ALL the loand components below and I've got an AWESOME travel agent down here for those of you who want to extend your stay

There will also be content opportunities for all of that for cross-shoots and all sorts of stuff which will be availed to any who want that.

Saturday 28 April - Fly out to Australia

Monday 30 April - Arrive Sydney early morning (gotta LOVE the international date line !!!), Half Day Sydney Bus Tour, Manly Ferry from Circular Quay to Manly, Ribs & Rump Manly Esplanade

Tuesday 1 May - Sydney Aquarium & Darling Harbour, Sydney Harbour Cruise Seafood Lunch, Twilight Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb

Wednesday 2 May - Fly Sydney to Cairns

Thursday 3 May - Port Douglas then Outer Barrier Reef Cruise for Snorkelling and Diving

Friday 4 May - Fly Cairns to Brisbane, CuriousToyBoy?s & Mellanie?s Engagement Party

Saturday 5 May - CTB?s 40th - Birthday Dinner and then onto CTB?s 40th -Birthday Party

Sunday 6 May - Bus tour of the amazing Gold Coast (tour)

Monday 7 May - Australia Zoo !!!

Tuesday 8 May - Leave if you want. Get back into LAX (if that is the way you go) 4 HOURS BEFORE YOU LEAVE (that dateline again !!!)

Oh, and if I don't like you, you can guess that a blunt refusal may offend.

It's all about ME baby !!

;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Being a local, I tend to think that this is the most attractive aspect of the entire itinerary (other than engagement/birthday celebrations :winkwink: ). The Gold Coast has ALOT to offer.

Check www.webjet.com.au out. I did a quick search (return Sydney to Los Angeles) and found:

United Airlines
Airfare: $11863
+ Taxes: $417
Total Price: $12280

That's Australia dollars, which apparently is $9,659.27USD total.

Mohawk Steve 02-16-2007 11:38 AM

Time to start saving $! Not sure I'll be able to make but I really want to. It will definitely be one for the record books!

pr0, where are you flying out of? I have a girlfriend who's agency has special arrangements with Qantas - she gets back today so I'll give her a call tonight.

Trixxxia 02-16-2007 02:49 PM

BTW, that itinerary looks nice - I wonder if with all your partying (Lindsay) your guests will be able to wake-up for half of that tour!! LMAO :) I know you'll survive but the others are probably not as resistant LMAO

Congrats on your Engagement Lindsey.

This looks like a truly amazing trip, you will see more and do more in 1 week then 90% of Australians do in a lifetime.

I would be able to make it all but would really love to be a part of your Engagement and 40th celebrations.

Adam

hi CTB - I lived in Manly for 3 months last year march-may and loved it :)

in fact ever since I returned to the UK all I've thought about is getting back to Sydney....a few more months and I'll have the money together, then I'm back like Jack..

so.......can't make this event I'm afraid but happy engagement anyway!
have a blast....all the best :pimp

Damian_Maxcash 02-16-2007 05:58 PM

If you have the balls to squeeze yourself into a wet suit for the Scuba then I may must join you for that at PD ..... I always chicken out of that.

I have to be in Townsville for a wedding at the end of April though.

------

Its funny, this whole trip is fitting together so well......

This will not be as full on as my usual tricks .... the first few days are about seeing the place AND having fun, and sure, it will be on, but the REAL test will be the weekend.

Stamina, stomach pump and liver the size of Texas recommended to go from start to end, which, is my plan.

But no need to try and keep up, just ride the train as far as you want and enjoy.

:winkwink: :thumbsup :1orglaugh :pimp
