Are you in Florida?

C-Bass 02-15-2007 02:55 PM

are you by a nuclear plant by any chance?

Martin 02-15-2007 02:56 PM

Those are NOT ducks lol.. Ducks are tiny. I live around a million ducks, geese, and swans and I've never seen anything like that.

Chio The Pirate 02-15-2007 03:02 PM

YARGH! Got lots of those in Florida. It's a Muskovy... and yes it's a duck.

No turkey in that. Wierd color patterns though, i'd kill it for being so easy to see in the urban setting!

Thanks for giving it a name. Thing is massive bigger then any duck i've seen before and the red bumpy beak was crazy lol. They seem friendly enough though.

Damn florida.

Yeah they're actually pretty cool. Much tamer than the ducks and swans in NY.

This thread reminded me, I have a picture of an aligator chasing a bunch of them and eventually getting one. I need to find it. I'll post it up when I do.

BoyAlley 02-15-2007 03:14 PM

OMG OMG OMG you found a living Turducken! :helpme :helpme :helpme

BlackCrayon 02-15-2007 03:21 PM

D 02-15-2007 03:23 PM

Ya... definitely a duck.

I used to go to lakes all the time as a kid and feed those things, growing up right outside of Orlando.
