need a new car - help - fx45, x3 or ml500
 

ok, got 30 days till my lease expires.

i currently have an infinity fx45. LOVE the car.

they are offering me another one (i lease) for $1000 a month - taxes in. it's a decent deal but i think they will come down another $100 a month and I have amonther 30 days to make them sweat on it till my lease expires. LOL - i love torchering car dealers. it's rrsp time so most high end luxery car buyers don't have extra cash this month so sales are low so i'm using that to my advantage.

my infinity dealer called me 5X today - started at $1400 and came down to $1000/month. i told him i'd buy at $900.


i've driven the mercedies ml500 and like it - and would even consider an ml320 if the price is right depending on what's on the lot and best deal. going there tomorrow to see what they have and can do.

don't like the audi suv, or the lexus, don't like the x5 BMW but really like the looks of the X3 bmw. anyone have one? - will try and take one out tomorrow and see what I think of it. looks like it'll be under $900 a month too taxes in.

there isn't anything else i'm really interested in.....

Chicks dig the Mercedes

I figure something with four wheel drive for the snow, I personally like living room on wheels type of ride.

have a hot girl - so that's not really the concern. bmw has the same impression as mercedies in my book. infinity is a little less but the car totally fucking rocks and blows the socks off the bmw and mercedies for the cost.

all cars i quoted are all wheel drive - hybrid suv/car type look

My mother has always been in to luxury vehicles. She's had Lexus, Porche, BWM, Jaguar just to name a few. She used to change vehicles every 6 months to a year ... Until she bought a Mercedez. Ever since that she's only ever bought Mercedez.

i liked test driing the ml500 and ml320

haven't been in the bmw x3 yet.

totally loved the fx45 last 2 years

if you can pull yourself away from the suv ... i'm partial to the 740's and the benz cl550 and s550. but not be an option with the weather up north. sorry, I don't know anything about those suv models

The new BMW X5 hasn't changed much other than getting a little larger inside. I have driven the X3 and it's a big piece of shit, the only thing good about that truck is the stereo.

I hate BMW X3 ! I think it`s the ugliest car in the world. Personally,I`d recommend Audi Q7 or Mercedes ML.

X3 is a piece of shit, stay far away. If you're happy with the FX, stick with it, especially if you'be had a good experience with the car and the overall ownership experience.

My gf has a little SLK - all I can say is that you pay to the tits for MB and the quality is just average and the cost of ownership is astronomical - You really gotta want that little 3 pointed star to justify the premium..

Get the Mercedes GL.

I've been looking at them, and the Range Rover.

Not sure what you got against Lexus, but my 400h drives like a dream. Although it's a little pricey compared to the BMW and Infinity. The only problem I have with Lexus is their customer service I found to be shit. BMW had great service.

I saw a Audi Q7 parked the other day and it made me cross the road to check it out, they look great and have a real presence about them

mine Mazda 3 is not so cool but I love it too!

My sister had an X3 for a year and traded it in on an X5.. Her opinion,was that the X3 was to small,bumpy and underpowered.

I have a Porsche CayenneS, I just got a few months ago and so far it's a major upgrade over the ML350 I traded in on it. The ML seemed like a truck,where the Cayenne is a lot more like a car. Cayenne has done great in the snow.

Agreed. I bought a ML500 for my fiance'. It's a great ride, very solid feeling, and oozes class.:)

I've heard about people doing this recently.... A lot of people think getting the X3 is just as good as the X5 but cheaper. Not the case... there's a huge difference

QX56 its great and has tons of space and power. Built quality is better than anything else in its class including Escalade and Navigator.
