Whats the best way to watermark a video?

i used one program and it turned a 6mb vid into a 221mb vid w/watermark. aspect ratio was left the same. wtf?

what program are you using? a mask should not make a file that big.

let me guess, you turned a 6Mb encoded file into a 221Mb unencoded file?

i dont know what that means, but when i switched the saving file type from avi to mpeg, the 6mb file is now 10mb. thats a far smaller output than before!
