Sure.
The law has no chance of passing, and those that are pushing that know it (nor do they want it to pass).
The argument that the religious right uses time and time again about why there should be a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marrage is that the ideal environment to raise a child is a one man one woman household.
In fact, children and "protecting families" are pretty much the ONLY excuse that the religious right has been able to come up with for why gay marriage is bad.
So, using THEIR own logic, and THEIR own arguments, this law was proposed.
If marriage is only about having kids, then everyone that gets married should have kids.
Of course, we all know that marriage is about much more than that (and for many couples it's not about kids at all). Marriage is about love, commitment, and be able to protect and provide for your spouse, and having a legal support structure that allows for that.
This law was proposed to make that point.

A lot of people chose not to have kids because they can’t, can’t afford it or they have other priorities. I don’t care what religious freaks say but reproduction is one of the key parts in what heteros MARRIGE.. Gays can’t have it regardless..
BoyAlley, please tell me why do you guys want this “marriage” thing so badly. Pick a word other than “marriage” and here we go.. problem solved. You did give word “gay” different meaning from what it was back in 1900’s. Grape is a grape.. when you dry it it become raisin. Are you following me?
