Reason #10000010100 why police suck:
 

So anyway a couple nights ago a buddy an i decided to hit up the casino (around 8pm we went in) hadnt been drinking or doing anything all night and decided to go gamble to fill up some time.

We both lost, and of course decided to leave the casino, on our way out of the front of the casino a cab pulled up behind us and suddenly this guy (around 6'0 35-40 years old) opens the back of the can door and suddenly runs up on me. I must note i have never seen, talked to or heard of this guy before he was a complete stranger.

So anyway he runs up on me and shouts to me "hey fuck face you want a piece of me" and i responded "wtf did you say to me" and he the responded "hey fuckface do you want a piece of me" he then proceeds to shove me.

So of course it was on, i shoved him back and then his 2 buddies ran out of the can also and all 3 were trying to pound of me, my buddy i am not to sure how much he did but he got 1 of them off.

In the middle of the action i push the original guy into the cab and he runs back at me, i then pick him up and toss him behind me, he then proceeds to fall face first into a brick wall.

At this point his face explodes and he hits the ground and he is bleeding badly we are all thinking he is probably dead. my buddy and i start to bolt as the other dudes r trying to chase us, i look back hoping the guy gets up and he finally does.

My buddy stops the other 2 dudes chasing us and stays behind, i then get a call from him saying the cops are coming so i then returned to the scene.

Anyway long story short the cops have ME in the back of the cop car and they are trying to make it sound like i used excessive force, and that i am lucky i am not going to jail. Never even gave me the option of charging the other guys (which i wouldnt have) and then let me go.

I am 100% fine, no bruises, no scratches, these guys were seriously a bunch of drunk or high pussies trying to jump me for no reason and the cops try to make it sound like it was my fault.

I am still very very pissed off, so what is the lesson learned? when 3 grown men try to beat you down, let them, or else you may end up hurting or killing one of them and you go to jail.

i was attacked by 3 complete strangers for no reason other then they must have been high or drunk and thought they were superman

i defended myself one guy got his head thrown into a brick wall and almost died

i was made to sound like i was the one who could be at fault when i was just defending myself.

i am sorry but "waiting and seeing" i could be stabbed or shot to death.

yeah cops suck, at least everyone was okay, if that guy was seriously injured you would be sitting in a cell right now for a long time

Three on two fight. Cops looked at injuries and said you may have been a little rough. Let you off with a warning.

Much better than arresting all five of your asses. Riding you all downtown, tossing you five into a cell and making you bail your ass out. Not like they need one of the five to "want to" press charges to arrest all of you for a fight in public.

and why should i be sitting in a cell?

i got jumped by 3 guys and did not purposely throw him into the wall, when the fight is on you dont have time to think "ok is there a wall there, lets move over 10 feet is that ok with you?"

he did get fucked up, it had to do with the fact he was either drunk or high and picked a fight for no reason.

Why do i even need a warning? or why would i need to be arrested? i was attacked by complate strangers for 0 reason other then him being drunk or high and thinking he was superman.

That is Canada for you, you defend yourself and you are somehow at fault.

BUT, I DON'T blame the cops.. they are just doing what they are TOLD to do. If you really have a problem with it, CONTACT your local government official and get the laws changed! This used to be a country where a man's HOME was his castle and he could protect it at all costs. His person was also afforded the same rights. But now, the political-correctness and feminization of the laws which used to protect the innocent - now protect the criminals!

I will defend my life to any means necassary.

Reason is that the police have no real idea what really started the fight or if you did not have prior issues and so forth. That is not their jobs. They must just try to get a story and piece it together then make a choice. Depends on whom the believe and such.

As also stated above, even in a case of self defense or mutual combat. If one person is seriously hurt or killed. You very well can be charged with anything from manslaughter to murder. Self defense is tricky at best. You are only allowed to use reasonable force in order to escape and no more.

I didnt not purposely push him into the brick pillar, i did not even know it was there, is trying to get 3 guys off of me at once, i didnt not have time to look around and see if it was safe to toss him or not.

I am not explaining this very well maybe.

I didnt push him into the wall on purpose it happened during the fight, he got flung around and went straight into it. i am not some kind of gangster, i did not grab his head and put it into a wall.

And i ran because his buddies were still coming after me.

I just would not be pissed at the cops, specially if they let me go with a warning.

I am angry to the fact that is was complete random violence. And just because i defended myself i am made to seem like some kind of criminal. If i were 5'3 130 there would have been no questions from the cops. It is like because i was able to defend myself from 3 random attackers i am at fault.

They could have been out to kill me and i would have not known, i am pissed because they got let off just because the got his face busted open.

I regret him getting hurt so bad, but i do not regret defending my life to any means.

These were not 3 school children, these were 3 grown men and i thank God i am as big as i am because i feel if i was a smaller guy i would have been the one with my face busted open almost dead.

Same thing happens around here all the time with guns. Someone breaks into your house and tries to rob you or do lord knows what to your children, and if you dare to pull a gun on them you are in a world of hurt. Police charge you and take all your guns and your name gets splashed in the paper and you have to spend half your retirement income to defend yourself.

Seen it happen to a couple people around here. One guy was just trying to defend his store from Indians. The only reason he got off was because the Indians didn't even bother to show up for court as witnesses.

In order to avoid any kind of prosecution in Canada, you basically have to lock yourself in a room and let them ransack your house, unless you want to go out and face them with your fists without knowing what kind of weapons they have or what their intentions are.

Personally I don't give a fuck. I keep a nice surprise under my bed with a bayonet on the end of it, and any fucker that tries to break into my house will be full of lead shot. If they don't have a gun then I'll just give em a poke with the bayonet.

I just keep a trigger lock and lockable ammo box in my bedroom so they can't get me for unsafe storage.
