Should have had an average fifteen joins on a certain sponsor yesterday - only had one. Should have had an average fifteen joins on the same certain sponsor on the day before - only had one. I'm tearing my hair out over here trying to find the problem... non email answering bastards don't make things any easier. Joins are down more than fifteen fold. So I came to the conclusion that things would automatically pick up if, for the first time ever, I started bitching about them.

Not like I'm a conversion jockey, but holy shit. I should write, on all my sites, in sixty foot high letters:

"DON'T FUCKING CLICK UNLESS YOU'RE GOING TO FUCKING BUY SOMETHING. DIE."

YES! That's the BIG Advantage over Per Sign Up. Per Sign Up = you're scrambling all the damn time and take it in the shorts if you have a crappy week. Partnership smooths out the rough spots and income not only recurs but builds up.

Recurring rocks... I sold one of my sites and gave the person 1 recurring sponsor that had members for over 30 months. So I had to start all over with this sponsor... And have some that have been members of 6 months... I'd rather have the much lower recurring than the one timer's at $47.00 and $ 27.00.

Depends on the retention tho -- sometimes the recurring income just levels off

Most sites cant keep their members longer than 3 months so in most cases your better off with per signup.

I don't usually watch stats since they are emailed at the end of the day to me for the overalls -- but I went and looked.

If you take out our new sites, sales are about right for a Saturday, if you add in the new sites its a buttkicking day.

On that note Fletchs design for us is ahead by a hair on straight traffic, and deeporalguys is doing better than cruisepatrol conversion wise.

Really? Guess I will find out soon enough. Going to do a side by side comparison. :)

Could be exit traffic from his paysite, or email to his paying customers... could be many possibilities in addition to the possibility you mentioned above.
