Digital cameras which one would you buy?
Im looking for a new handy cam that won't be too much large with some professional features and good photo quality.
Any ideas what should I go for ? |

check out dpreview.com ... you'll probably have to choose between "won't be too much large" and "with some profesionnal features"
Canon is my brand of choice personnaly but i have to admit that i'm not that familiar with point n shoot cameras. I have an EOS digital rebel myself. The body isn't that big but it's still big and it can weight quite a bit depending which lens you have. If you're looking for a not too large cam you'll probably have to go with a non SLR camera with a fixed lens. This Canon Point n Shoot looks good: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canong7/ |

You can't go wrong with Canon, no matter if high end or amateur, they are worth the $$$.

I have a question, is it best to take pictures at the camera's max res or should i choose a lower res. Im just gonna be taking pictures of some property i might buy next week. I took a few pictures at max res they look pixelated to me but if i reduce the res in photoshop they look much better. Max is about 3648 x 2736, would it be better to just take the pictures at a lower res to begin with?

Get a rebel... without the battery grip and the flash it's kinda small ... and a world of differnece in the quality
