I would have to agree 100%. Method Man and ODB definitely gave the WU an edge. Much better than that hokey ass corny bullshit called DIP SET (wtf?).

Yeah they were first and created gangsta rap, but wu tang created an empire of rap, and have been hitting hard for over 10 years now. They're not as popular as a lot of other shitty rappers out there now, but they've got some of the best hip hop albums ever.

Method, ODB (RIP), RZA, GZA, GhostFace, Raekwon, fuck man! They all rock. Don't forget RZA (the backbone of the WU) put out Gravediggaz, another awesom group.

NoLimit created an empire. :) I don't know how much of a group they actually were, but aside from being a record label, they acted like a group... lol!

best group for me gotta be Mobb Deep... they consistently keep they lyrics and beats up to par from the early 90's till now!

Yep, the name is genius.

They may not thave the "best ever title" in your opinion, but they have some of the best "titles" ever. At least 4 members of the group put out some of the best albums ever: Method Man (Tical), Gza (Liquid Swords), Reakwon (Cuban Links), Ghostface (Ironman). Dont forget their classic group albums: enter da wu tang, wu tang forever. Plus there are a handfull of other great wu tang cd's most rappers cant even come close to.

Mobb Deep is another of my favorite bands. And even though they also dont get a lot of respect these days, the group (especially Prodigy) is still one of the best ever.

Wu is amongst the bets ones. Just like Mobb Deep! And lots of other groups from the early 90s... these new "performers" (noises) just make me sad...

BTW Redman and Method Man is coming to our town on March 9th. On my birthday!!! With DJ Dice from Das EFX!!!! For an eastern europian loser like me, it's the best birthday present :)

They were the first to commercialize themselves (Wu-Wear, anybody?), but their product was sub par. Holy shit, they are web 2.0!

I don't listen to rap very much BUT when I do it's the Wu-Tang Clan. Those guys rock. It's great work out music.

Love Wu Tang but PE is best all time in my opinion.
