Reverse Racism? An Interesting Email I Received ....
THIS IS *NOT* MY OPINION, BUT AN EMAIL I RECEIVED FROM SOMEONE WHO I DO NOT KNOW .... BLOODY INTERESTING PERSEPECTIVE... WHAT DO YOU THINK ?
After Australia has recinded the "White Australia Policy" it has become tedious to say the least when so called "mult-culturals" use Australia as a "launching pad" for airing their previous countries grievences and problems. I believe the below more than adequately conveys what the silent majority of Australians feel. If you don't like Australia "rack off". It's "an oldie but a goodie". A whingeing immigrant states "For 20 cents I'd leave Australia". The reply? "Here's $1 take four of your mates with you." Australia- The Right to Leave Our Country - YOU Have the right - the right to leave ! After Sydney not wanting to offend other cultures by putting up Xmas lights. After hearing that the State of South Australia changed it's opinion and let a Muslim woman have her picture on her driver's license with her face covered. This prompted this editorial written by an Australian citizen. Published in an Australian newspaper. [Quote:]IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It ! I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the errorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the "politically correct" crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others. I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to Australia. However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand. This idea of Australia being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Australians, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom. We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, Learn the language! "In God We Trust" is our National Motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, Because God is part of our culture. If the Southern Cross offends you, or you don't like " A Fair Go", then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, And we really don't care how you did things where you came from. This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our National Motto, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom,"THE RIGHT TO LEAVE"[/quote] If you aren't happy here then fuck off! We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted. Pretty easy really, when you think about it. Discuss .......... :2 cents: |
LOL are you sure you didn't do a search/replace with Australia for the States?
|
I agree. Oh and Australia rocks.
|
To tell you the truth, I have liked the majority of immigrants that I have met. Was actually thinking about this earlier today. They have been nice, grateful, hard working, and they have the drive to bring their family a better life. What's not to like about that?

too long and uninteresting to read.

You're talking about the whole Western world. It will change I am sure, but it's going to take a couple of nations such as France and Belgium to completely succumb to their future Islamic majority to wake up the rest of the world. Whilst Australia is certainly not faced with Eurabia, the parallels are certainly there.

Yeah - you could replace Australia with the US, UK, NZ.
I support multicultralism 100% - but if you move here you abide by the rules everyone else has to live by. There are places here that as a white non jew I just cant go - all sorts of clubs, religious centers etc.... If I tried to exclude non-whites from anywhere I would be arrested (not that I want to). That does piss me off. I took some str8 friends to a gay club here and they refused them entry - I was fucking furious. I have never been turned away from anywhere here because I am gay. |

I've had that talk yesterday... We talked about the fact that in all that adaptation to other cultures, we might be forgetting our own too fast without starting any public debate about it.
Things always catch up to you... Take for example religion and state here in Quebec... we literally dropped it overnight without any public debate. Yet all our streets are named after saints, and religion played a HUGE role in our culture. Today the immigrants are forcing us to have that public debate... Where their religion previals on other's people behavior. Drawing the line is very hard. If you pull all the religion out it can create ghettos like in france... |

"In God We Trust" is not Australia's national motto. :1orglaugh
Whoever wrote that is either a moron or did a quick find and replace. I suspect the latter. |
